I agree, God first. However, you have God in your life...hold Him special to share to with your mate. He is the third cord, that holds everything together. To be Best friends, you have to be friends first. Develop a strong foundation, before becoming romantic. Romance can cover flaws, because its the preparation for Love. They say, Love is blind. I don't believe, Love is blind, its a choice. We choose to over look flaws, because of the way people make us feel...Loved. So, knownly you choose to compromise, because you Love them. But Love is hard work! We make decisions all the time, whether to deal with matters of a relationship with Love or not. What you put in it, is what you Get. Yes, communicate...with Love! Create a positive pattern for your relationship, for you and your love one's growth. I don't believe arguments are normal, but disagreements are common. Instead, of arguments...have discussions. Agree to disagree, make peace, pick and choose your battles, and you'll find most disagreements are not worth the negative energy. Expect change, for everything is changing. But never force change in relationship, allow it to come naturally. As you work together with your partner, both evolve as a unit. Sometimes, you have to Love a person, where their at. We want Love to be unconditional, but Love can be a double edge sword, because Love has expectations. The conditions in a relationship is forever changing, you decide everyday, whether they are worth it.
