*most mthical animals go unnoticed as the rat king and the humans are packing up*
*Raptor looked around, chasing after opal*
{The yokai watches the two animals play a game of chase before capturing them in mystic cages with the others.}
*Raptor looked around, their wings puffing out, screeching and clawing at the cage while opal hopped back, looking around*
*The rat king watches from the shadows, disappearing into the mass of rats, as they swarm the yokai, some working on trying to free raptor or at least opal, and the others warning the others*
"Jerry! Distract them!"
*Jerry squeaked, looking at the yokai before jumping on one of them*
{The yokai hops out of the way, immediately putting Raptor through a portal so they can focus on what's going on.}
*Raptor called for the rat king, looking around while opal flapped his wings, panicking as the rats grab him and run off*
*Jerry ran through the portal to stay with raptor while the other rats skitter away, having saved opal*
{The yokai huffs, trying to grab what they can and flee.}
*mythical creatures left and right start panicking, with the rat king helping whi they can escape before eventually running off to hide*
{The yokai growls in agitation before opting to open another portal and flee back to where they put Raptor. Not great, but still, one is better than none.}
*Raptor looked around, ruffling their feathers uneasily looking at jerry*
"Rat king?"
*Jerry squeaked, hiding near raptor, continuing to squeak comforts to raptor*
*opal looked around, and to the rat king, ruffling his feathers before searching for raptor*
"Opal, your okay, they took raptor. How did those things find us? What do they want with us?"
Annoying little rats.... Literally...
{The yokai scoffs, as the portal closes behind them, grabbing the mystic cage Raptor is in, holding them up to view more closely.}
*Raptor sqawked, flapping their wings and hiding in a corner*
"Rat king! Rat king!"
Shut it, you little pest.
I bet you'd make a pretty coin at the docks.
{The yokai hums, weaving through the city and through a hidden portal into the Hidden City.}
*Raptor hid under their wings, squawking for the rat king*
{The yokai looks around the city, taking anything off Raptor and stashing them away before heading to the docks- the more sketchy side of them.}
*Raptor hissed, screeching and squawking loudly*
Stop that racket, you little rat- before I tie your beak shut!
*Raptor sqawked before hiding in a corner, curling up and burying their beak in their wings*
Perhaps you're smarter than you look.

{The yokai looks around the docks, talking with some pirates.}
*Jerry looked around, running off, keeping a watch on raptor and the yokai*
*Raptor looked around, swishing their tail, giggling nervously*
{After an hour of talking up the docks, they find a pirate willing to pay some top shellings. The yokai counts out their shellings before handing Raptor over.}
The little one even came with this.
{The yokai shows the box they took from Raptor that lets them talk.}
But it'll cost you a little extra if you want it.

*Raptor sqawked, clawing at the cage, flailing their wings*
I don't need no extras.
Keep the charm, all I need is the griffin.
Alrighty then; pleasure doing business with you.
{The yokai and pirate head their separate ways. The yokai going who knows where with the pirate heading back to their ship to show off the griffin they just bought to the rest of the crew.}
*Raptor continued squawking loudly, clawing at the cage, searching for an escape*
*Jerry squeaked, crawling up the yokais arm and biting the yokai*
{The pirate yokai hisses in pain before quickly snatching the rat.}
Hey guys!
I just got us a snack.
Really?
Whatchu got there?
*Jerry squeaked, trying to escape the pirates grip*
*Raptor screeched, ramming into the cage, freaking out more, no! Rat king!*
"Rat king!"
(They can't understand poor raptor)
This little guy bit me, so I say he's warranted to enter the pot.
It's been a minute since I've had rat.
Extra protein.
Oh, and I just bought a young griffin off someone; I think they might come in handy.
{The pirate shows the cage off to their crew so they can see Raptor.}
*Raptor squawked, puffing out their fur and feathers, trying to make himself look bigger while still searching for an escape*
*Jerry bit the pirate again, wriggling out of the pirates grasp and running to escape, squeaking loudly, he doesn't get paid enough for this*
Ow-! Why you little-
{The pirate hisses again while the others start cracking up laughing.}
*Raptor hissed, continuing to puff up his feathers, and trying to attack the yokai, calling for the rat king or angleo*
{The pirate's sword strikes without warning making the others shut up quickly.}
Enough, all of you!
{The pirate gives the griffin's cage a harsh jerk for added measures.}
*Raptor yelped, sinking down and continuing to hiss and growl, swishing his tail*
Take this and hang the cage in the lower deck.
We'll be setting sail soon.
{One of the other pirates takes Raptor's cage, scrambling to the lower deck and attaching it to a hook on a chain hanging from the ceiling.}
Hope you like your new home.
*Raptor growled, swiping and trying to bite the pirate*
"Angleo! Rat king!"
{The pirate dodges the bite.}
Naughty, naughty. Might not get dinner now.
*Raptor hissed louder, puffing up their feathers and sinking to the ground, glaring at the pirate, this is the hidden city, they don't seem very nice or cool*
{The pirate leaves, heading to the upper deck with the rest of the crew, leaving Raptor alone in the dark. As the ship moves or the pirates walk around, your cage begins to rock and sway.}
