*As the workers travel to New york, one looks out at the bustling city*
"Really? Who would ever live in new york?"
"No idea, but we have a job to do."
"Do you have everything we need? How exactly are we gonna find this monster?"
"Aw, I don't find it so bad here."
"We will watch the surveillance cameras around the town and find out where it moves. I'm sure we can find a pattern."
"Maybe, but what if we don't?"
*The worker sighed, setting up a laptop and looking around the cameras to see anything*
"Its a stink pit full of people who hate the world, and crime"
"Its worse then any other place to live in."
"We will. We got no other choice. We need at least a few spots to set the trap for it."
"The scenery is still nice."
*The worker sighed, swimming through some recordings, noting down the last areas the monster went to before watching those areas*
*Leon ruffled his wings, jumping down and putting on a cloaking brooch (probably his lmao) before walking into a shop*
"Excuse me, can I get a bacon and mushroom breakfast sandwich"
The workers look into the camera footage, making a plan.
They still look out, enjoying the view.
"You think we can get some souvenirs?"
"Maybe if we hurry and catch this thing"
"I would like a souvenir.."
*Leon paid for his sandwich, walking out and too an alley, before opening a portal walking through before taking off his cloaking brooch and smiling*
"Oh new york, you beautiful place."
"Unlike staten island you make the best sandwiches!"
"Guys look!"
*The worker points to the recording where the monster appears*
"I found it!"
"Woah, you did."
"It can hide as us?"
"That doesn't seem good.. is that good trish?"
"No idea"
"That's bad. But not our problem right now. Let's go and catch it!"
He stands up and grabbing some things.
"June, stay here with me, we can track that thing"
*June nodded, handing some gear to some other workers*
"Lets move out"
*the workers gear up, running out*
*Leon sighed, laying sprawled out, eating his sandwich and looking at mikeys art, smiling*
"I love you mikey.. you are a great sibling, even if im an ass."
They quickly move out towards the monster. Quietly, they set the devices to catch it before throwing it at the monster.
*Leon scrambled to his feet as something gets thrown at him*
"Hey whats the big deal! Im just trying to eat a sandwich up here!"
*The workers climb up to the building, watching leo*
*Leom huffed spreading his wings, nope, not today, he is not dealing with bishop! He grabed his sword, aiming to make a portal*
As soon as Leon tries to make a portal, several shocks activate and run through his body.
"Now! Go, go, go!"
He runs to the monster, ready to grab it as the shocks end.
*Leon screamed, fuck fuck fuck! Not a good day! He stumbled back, praying to the gods his wings can hold him in the air, or at least glide, pushing past the workers, the second the shock ends, he starts running off the building before jumping and spreading his wings, please glide, please glide!*
"Shit.."
"Guys get that monster now."
*some workers tried to grab leon, nearly falling off the building themselves before others chase after him*
He readies the net canon, aiming at Leon. He shoots the first net at the gliding monster.
*Leon yelped, clawing at the net, nearly dropping down before turning his tail slightly, dodging out the way, calling mikey*
"My sandwich!"
*the workers chase after the gliding monster, informing Trish and June about the monster*
"Shoot another net!"
"ON IT!"
He readies the next net and shoots it at Leon.
Mikey doesn't seem to go on his phone...
*Leon growled, activating his panic button before yelping as the net flew past him*
"Cmon cmon can't we talk about this guys! I mean how much is bishop really paying you!?"
"Who is bishop?"
"No idea, just fire again! Drive it towards the traps, it has to land at some point."
*The worker nodded, shooting another net a the monster before handing another on to the other worker*
"Don't miss this time ron"
*Leon yelped, diving down slightly before shifting his weight, turning and diving back down, claws outstretched to attack on of tje workers*
He grumbles, loading again. He runs closer to Leon before aiming and firing.
"Watch out!"
They block Leon's attack, shielding the other worker.
*Leon yelped as he crashed into the workers, landing in a crumpled mess, groaning slightly before stumbling to his feet, oh everything is spinning.. he still his head slightly, whining*
*The workers dive out the way as the monster fails to attack them, huffing*
"Grab it!"
*Some workers run, tackling the monster as its still dazed holding it down*
"Got it!"
"Quick, sedate it!"
"I'm on it!"
They scramble on their feet before taking out the syring. Quickly, they inject it into Leon.
*Leon hissed, biting the worker that injected him, flailing his wings, stupid small body, stupid wings!*
"Back off!"
"Hey! Buy someone dinner before you do that!"
*stupid, he used that line before.. unfortunately he can't come up with anything else, as his vision blurs and he stops flailing around as much*
"God, that was horrible"
"Who even decided this was a good monster to put into this world?"
"What even is it?"
"Looks like a horrible breed of a turtle and a fucked up bird."
He nudges the monster with his foot.
"Let's bring this abomination to the base and get this thing on. Boss is waiting for answers."
*the workers nodded, lifting the monster and dragging it in the van, driving off*
"That is one fucked up monster"
*Trish poked at it, staring in disgust*
"Yeah... it looks useless."
"Why would someone create this... for what purpose?"
"Who knows."
"Some there have been a ton of monsters sightings"
*The workers drive back to the building with trish informing the boss*
"Boss we have the monster"
