Everyone is the author to their own story. And sometimes people end their stories too soon. The semicolon is what happens when an author could have ended a sentence, but didn't. My story isn't done yet, this is my daily reminder that I could have ended my story way back when I was having these thoughts in my child hood, but my story continues. This is a battle that I will carry with me, and this is my reminder that there is still more story to tell. If anyone is battling depression or suicidal thoughts, please reach out to someone, I have been afraid for as long as I could remember because I didn't want to bother someone with my problem, make them worry, or seem needy. Living with this is tough, but you don't have to go it alone.
