A few minutes ago, I had reminded myself of that Beauty and the Beast Christmas midquel that I had watched more than the original movie as a kid because my sister really liked it. Only problem is that I had specifically reminded myself of THIS.

On one hand, he's this cunty pipe organ who really likes music and is voiced by TIM CURRY, but on the other hand, he is absolutely terrifying.

A while back, I remembered how horrifying this thing was, and I decided to look him up. Turns out he was this emo composer who wasn't appreciated by the beast because his music was too gloomy, and when he was turned into an pipr organ, he decided that it was cool as fuck so he ends up trying to destroy Belle and Adam's (?) relationship because he just really loves being an organ. At some point, he decides to crumble the whole house by playing really loud.

The disney villain who I love to see getting featured the best is Captain Hook. I get so excited to see him in advertising, edits on Tik Tok, mentioned in TV and Books, etc. And he isn't even my favourite Disney Villain.

Because he's silly, and goofy, and a scaredy cat. And Walt Disney told writers they couldn't kill him off because people would love him too much- which is true. We do love him.

So he's prime real estate to write off as just a silly guy. Just a nothing villain. Enjoyable because he's funny, but not threatening.

... except he is threatening.

He's cunning, clever, ruthless and uncomfortably apathetic towards children and even his own men.

Captain Hook manages to be wicked enough to rival the likes of Jafar and Ursula, and also be loveable enough that viewers root for him not to die at the end.

He's such a good Disney Villain. I love him.
