i really like your Everyone Lives au as madara seems to be really happy in it. he has an above average number of friends, his family's alive and well, and he is the second strongest guy in the world. love that for him, so thank you for this :)

Everybody lives Madara is living his best life by far. This, as it turns out, consists of:
Being the most obnoxious sibling he can possibly be toward all of his brothers and, eventually, all of Hashirama's brothers too
Running the Academy and overseeing all the little shinobi kids' training in the most nosy, in-your-business way possible. He likes to pop into random classes and ask the kids what they're learning and then probably show off something tangentially related but way more advanced. The kids love this, and when school is out Madara is frequently followed by duckling swarms of tiny pre-shinobi that want to see and/or learn something cool.
Spoiling all his assorted nieces and nephews rotten (Hashirama's kids are included here)
Terrifying the entire world via his spars with Hashirama
Madara managed to get his hands on a falcon summoning contract but made the mistake of saying his experience with falconry made him a superior choice as their summoner, and they got offended at the implication that he thought he could treat them like regular, captive falcons. So he just summons them on the edges of the village every so often to have another screaming match about whether they should let him summon him for real or not.
Bothering hashirama after school lets out for the day and helping him with his work so they can go drinking/gambling. Lowkey becoming secret co-kage. Tobirama would complain except the last few hours when Madara is helping actually make Hashirama do like three to four times the work he normally would have done in that time AND do it happily, because it's engaging. Madara reads things aloud/ genjutsus concepts directly into Hashirama's brain, thereby bypassing his dyslexia and letting him be comfortable enough to be creative and clever. Madara is his emotional support uchiha okay. "For the hokage's eyes only" means for hashirama, madara, and possibly tobirama only. I have feelings about this.
Madara also eventually gets his own kids!
Madara in this AU is aro, and has a (unlabeled, but still) queerplatonic thing going on with Hashirama and possibly Mito. So he wasn't interested in marrying, and was very unhappy when Taka informed him that Taka had arranged a marriage for him. Since arguing with Taka would just get him in trouble, Madara went to find his arranged fiance and try to scare her off by telling her how much he absolutely did not want a wife and did not want to get married and would never love her, so run away while you still can.
She told him that she knew and in fact was counting on that. The marriage was her idea, because she didn't really want a husband either, but she wanted kids, and also wanted to get close to Mito and see if there was any chance of seducing her. Madara's just useful and needed a wife anyway, and she's perfectly happy for him to ignore her 99% of the time.
Madara: *incoherent sputtering while his brain reboots*
...and then Madara runs off to flail at/warn Hashirama and Mito that he has to get married and also his about-to-be wife is planning to try to seduce Mito. Mito and Hashirama both think this is very funny (although they're sympathetic about the arranged marriage part).
Mito is not available for seduction, but Madara's wife gets the kids she wanted. (She might find other Senju women to seduce; she’s also aro and just wants sex, so she’s not picky about personality or concerned by the ‘what if we become enemies again and I have to kill you’ issue. She would not care.) Once Madara stops flailing he decides that marrying her is acceptable, because he also wants kids and does not want a wife in the relationship sense. So they end up as basically roommates that coparent and have separate lives otherwise, but get along well enough. Madara never stops feeling like she's just waiting for the right moment to yank the rug out from under his feet again, though.
Madara proceeds to rival post-reveal Taka for being helplessly enamored with his kids, but he's MUCH better at actually telling them no.
