Super secret Nightmare difficulty? You mean Melting Low%, which contributes to Aria Low% from CotND, where I have to kill the Captain with only the revolver without Rhino Skin or Strong Spirit, not having a single crown for the entire run, and not explode a single corpse for the whole run as well? Yeah, I'm already doing that. (okay, I made up the challenge by myself out of pure boredom, but it's an interesting challenge, yeah?)

I finally did it. I finally completed Hard mode. I am never going to do that bs ever again. Before I leave, let me leave just two simple words for Hard mode: FUCK. YOU.

So, i made it to loop 4, my best run, and the game crashed. It didn't save my progress, so i have to retry getting Y.V.'s B skin

How can I survive the throne 1 and 2 fight without melee? Some weapon spawns don't give me a convient melee weapon :(

I'd say I'm a seasoned player, can regularly loop with all the characters but was killed by the thrones first giant laser in my latest run. Feel like such a rookie :')

How do I heath throne II?? It's so frustrating especially playing as melting

Spam a lot. If you have melee or blood weapons that’s good too because you can get rid of the big orbs which can give you more health and ammo

How tf do you even loop in the first place??? My best run so far has been as YV, and I got to the last level of Frozen City, and was killed by a regular enemy. As I sit there, wondering if I should just give up, I look and I'm all like "is that lil hunter? Oh fuck no" because i've heard the horror stories of ruined runs via lil hunter-induced death. I usually either die in the Scrapyard or to big shotgun gators in the Sewers, got any advice?

Don’t give up. Giving up is the #1 cause of failing to loop. Just take time to learn which guns are good, which mutations to take in what situation and you can do it. I believe in you

How you you exactly loop? When I get to the generators, I die everytime at the the throne even with my melee weapon. How do strike the genrators faster?

You’ll generally want to incentivise picking up spammy weapons like gatling slug, auto crossbow etc for the generators. Having a fast swinging melee weapon to deal with the big orbs that the throne shoots at you, which often drop ammo, which will help with your spam weapon. Focus the top 2 generators first so as to stop the throne walking at you and blocking off your ability to shoot at them. Hope this helps!

Going strong with a Gatling Slugger and Laser Minigun on 5-2.

No heals (medpacks or otherwise) since 3-3. Needless to say, I’m rolling on 1hp.

Killing a Snow Tank gets me up to three after (FINALLY) getting a medpack. Effectively worthless at the moment, but RNG won’t screw me again right?

Wrong.

Turning a corner, There is a small open area with a Crown Portal in the middle. Tons of enemies on the other side.

I fire a slug round to kill a Santa Bandit, and it bounces and hits the portal, and the IDPD show.

“SONOFAMOTHER-”

I kill the two that spawned behind me, but then a random bullet comes from far offscreen (Where the other enemies were, though a one tile hole) and kills me for my 3hp. Dammit.

Shit dude that sucks to hear, at least you were playing the best character in the game

Finally beat the Captain on my third try with the Big Man Y.V.! How do you suggest looping with Melting?
