introduction post!

basic info: you can call me by just “nuisance,” or by my fursona’s name “skitter.” i am a minor, and also autistic. so far i am a cisgender he/him, and i cannot say at the moment how this will change in the future. and that’s about it.
did i mention i like skunks?
and, a slight infodump about an interest of 3 years:
if you’re curious, the username “nuisance animal” comes from a children’s book series of which i read the first two books back-to-back 3 years ago, and have since been waiting for the third. fortunately, we’re at the point in time where this third book comes out less than a month from now. the series is titled “skunk and badger,” and after i checked a while back there might already be an unrelated webcomic on here with the same title, but i checked again and it hasn’t been updated since 2013. and i also found two whole posts about the book itself!!!! so! if you like frog and toad for any reason and want something similar, this is the series for you. if i have one goal of making anything at all more well-known on this platform, it’s not myself or my characters, but this particularly good book.
now, other interests and notable whatsits:
- the j-pop duo FAKE TYPE.
- the furry webcomic “Housepets!” by rick griffin
- the UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE duology
- the Jackbox Games franchise, particularly their flagship series “YOU DON’T KNOW JACK”
- i don’t find anime that are interesting to me very often, but sometimes i do. for the past year i’ve been slowly keeping up with the ranma 1/2 reboot.
- i also find age ratings interesting. how they work, the discrepancies they show between various pieces of media, how they’re different in other countries, etc.
now here’s a few things i’m not hyperfixated on/specially interested in, but have seen and enjoyed and maybe was obsessed with at a point in the past and i’m just not at this moment…anyway, it’s stuff i know of and would enjoy seeing posts about every so often:
- scott pilgrim
- geometry dash
- lemon demon
- will wood
- vocaloid artists of various sorts (GHOST, karikibear, balloon, kikuo, NILFRUITS…)
- gravity falls
- bill wurtz
- the good place
- cuphead
