Logan raised both brows in surprise at Tonyâs words. The multi-billionaire had actually admitted that Logan was right. Pausing, he almost felt as if he needed to jot it down and ask J.A.R.V.I.S. for a recording of it later⊠Just so he could play it over and over again for the otherâs to hear and witness as well.
Logan was only ever sort of petty. Finishing off the offered drink that Tony had given him, Logan narrowed his eyes and moved to stand. âIt isnât like I actively seeked him out, you know.â It was true, all Logan had wanted to do was to sit at a bar and get some well needed peace before he destroyed a man for holding out money from him.
How was he supposed to know that the Star-Lord was going to walk in and talk to him? âListen, Steveâs talked to me already and I imagine heâs gonna talk to you soon. S.H.I.E.L.D. apparently needs us because of a reason they havenât felt so inclined to tell anyone, not even Cap. Just thought Iâd let you know so you could get the upper hand.â Moving towards the door, Logan raised a hand to wave. âI gotta go, Iâll be around, thanks for the drink.â
"Yeah, yeah," he waved off, walking around the bar when Logan stood up. If he believed anything the mutant ever said, he believed that. He knew the man liked his privacy- probably more than anyone he knew, and that was saying a lot. But he couldn't help but make everything a competition. It was practically everything in his nature.Â
Crossing his arms across his chest, Tony pressed his lips together indignantly. "That doesn't surprise me. Alright, thanks for letting me know. I'll keep an eye out for the Cap and keep doing my own research in the mean time." He uncrossed his arms to give Logan a lazy wave good bye. "Next time, maybe try knocking." Â
