Tony was tired, and quite frankly, he was getting a little stir crazy. He wasn't used to staying in one place for so long and he was half tempted to call up Pepper and tell her they were flying out to Rome for a week. In fact, he'd already started to pull his phone out to call her when he got the alert. The Avenger's Mansion had been put on lock down and his presence was requested by J.A.R.V.I.S. With a very exaggerated sigh, Tony slumped his shoulders and pocketed his phone and mumbled "I'm going to kill him," before flinging out his arm in a motion to call the suit.
Within a few minutes, he was completely suited up and already flying over New York City in his suit, ignoring the way J.A.R.V.I.S. babbled in his ear about the proper protocols that could have avoided this outing. He was annoyed plenty without listening to his own computer system scold him.
The flight was short, and soon he was touching down smoothly and tapping the side of his mask to open it, successfully revealing his face. Everything seemed calm on the outside, which may or may not have been a good sign. He cringed to think what was happening on the inside.
Before Tony could make it to an entrance so that he could once again get to work cleaning up after someone, he heard something to his left. Moving swiftly, he snapped his mask back on and aimed his palm in the direction of the noise, still unable to see who he was up against. "If you're trying to break into this property, you're going to be very sorry," he announced, stepping around the corner towards the noise.
