It was just a plain old day on moonbase, and, as usual, Kurloz was hanging around the decommissioning chamber. Checking the equipment and whatnot was part of his job, and that was just what he was doing at the moment.
For the third time today.
Needless to say he was quite bored. He almost enviedā¦
Meulin hopped around, skipping really. She waved happily to the operatives she walked by. Always the happy one. But Meulin was on a mission of her own today and wouldnāt stop for anybody.
Kurloz, her best friend. Numbuh666, she smiled to herself as she made her way towards the decommissioning station where she knew shed find him. That was his job.
She gently pushed the door opening, looking towards the taller boy and instantly smiling. She jumped, before running to him and hugging him tightly.
She pulled back quickly and started signing with her hands in a frenzy. āHello Kurloz! How are you today? This is the first time Iāve seen you at all!ā She pouted and tapped her foot.
And after about five times of circling the centre, the door opened. He smiled as he saw his best friend, numbuh320 dashing towards him and hugging him tightly.Ā
Reading her sign language, he returned the impatient girl's with his own. "I'm fine, thank you. I'm just a bit bored. I'm stuck in here after all." There was really nothing else he could say about his day, "And how about yourself?" He realized that, indeed, they hadn't seen each other in quite a while. The last time they communicated was when a thirteen-year-old attempted to escape decommissioning and she was tasked to bring them back.
He didn't realize how busy they had both been until now.
