What I find interesting is the way "Wave" and the Old Man talk in this episode is different

The Old Man's speech seems more slow and wispy, based on the way the speech bubbles are drawn.

Meanwhile..

The way his inplied reflection, Wave, talks is a lot different. He talks like normal, and his way of conversation changes too.

I wonder if that's just a stunt that the Old Man pulled, pretending his wispy voice matched his look, or if it's something that the mirror has the ability to do.

Is the mirror the reason why the voice changed?

I still don't fully believe the Old Man = Wave completely, due to previous flashback scenes, something's definetely going on here
