He came home from 8 hours of cooking in the su at work. With him he had groceries and wine. He let his daughter lay down for a nap while he went and cleaned dishes and picked up in the kitchen sweeping and mopping. His beard messy from work still had the scent of grease and wd40 mixed with sweat and sunscreen. He filled the sink and scrubbed dishes and started the dishwasher. Wiped down the counters and stove and started prepping dinner. Face down and other jams played on speaker as he cleaned the kitchen. While some see this as a once in a while thing this was just Wednesday for him.
