Blaze's flames can change color depending on her emotions. Amy flirting with her makes them become bright pink.

Shadow is literally made to be soft and warm, like a cat. This was intended to be a feature to get Maria to like him better. Most of the ARK used him as a therapy hog because of this, and now Sonic will cuddle with him when he's sleepy, cold, or both.

Shadow was far from an innocent child. In fact, he was an absolute gremlin child that bit everyone on the ARK that wasn't Maria, for reasons unknown. There's a record still up there somewhere dedicated to every bite he's ever inflicted on anyone on the ARK. This count is disturbingly high.
