I wish more people, both patients and other non-patients, understood this!
I wish they talked about ALL possible nursing settings in nursing school... and not just what it is like working in the hospital.
Nursing students, the profession is SO VAST, you can literally do anything with your degree and license. If you love med-surg or peds or maternity etc., then FANTASTIC !!! I am so happy you've found your niche! However if you feel like you don't belong in the hospital there are other options where you can productively help people professionally as a nurse..
just don't get discouraged and don't give up!
