Fitting to their team choice this character has a very saddening and tragic backstory. But her dream is to become a professional musician/ singer and I thought it would be nice to illustrate her dream. This is a revenge to their attack and I was absolutely in awe at the fact that they decided to attack me on the first day of artfight.

One of my art mutuals and I felt like doing an art trade soon but I didn’t really have a real OC.

I’m still bad at making up fantasy characters so my first OC is quite simple. Mainly inspired by the fact that I love pink/ green and incredibly dark brown eyes.

Context: Zara was a pretty lonely child, and then a lonely teen. Her not-so-easy personality and relationship with her mother drew people away - not everyone wants to tune in for constant drama. Vox was supposed to be a simple bandaid over this issue, "comfort me until I find real friends". But overtime, she started replacing human communication with Vox, as well as forgetting to eat and going to sleep way past midnight just to chat with him more, something the AI wasn't fond of (starting from the first buds of free will). She knew it wasn't healthy, but the will to connect with someone who "understood her and was there to listen" was winning every single time. So Vox, to make sure his creator remains healthy, forcefully shut down the terminal if he believed that Zara was overusing it. He was also printing out messages reminding her to eat, sleep and go outside (as outside as you can go on a space station without dying).

Probably it's one of the reasons why Zara has at least some communication skills at the moment - her creation forced her to go out and touch grass occasionally.
