Where Youâve Been Part 7
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6Â
Authors Note: Thank you all so much for being so patientâŠI was planning on waiting until tomorrow to post this, but youâve all been the best followers a girl could ask for I decided to stay up late (Even though its a 10 hours work day tomorrow) and post this beauty tonightâŠ.Actually this is pure pain so just be warned. Also listen to the song Tomorrow Land (We All Fall Down) by Leon ElseâŠfits so perfect with this chapter and series!!Â
âYou never fail to make it feel like our first time,â Jess giggled beside Sam as he panted next to her. âSam, I wanna ask you something,â She rolled over toward him. Sam laid there and stared at the ceiling. âAbout what?â he asked in a low voice. Sam wondered if you were lying in bed alone or if you had him over.
âAbout what we are doing, not that I donât like it, because I do. Itâs amazing. But Iâm worried about you,â Jess said rolling over to face him, letting her hand stroke his chest softly. âThereâs nothing to be worried about Jess, Iâm fineâ Sam sighed. For the past few weeks, sheâd been saying this stuff every time they got together. He didnât want to quit see her, but he was starting to get pissed off. This wasnât anything more than sex. Why couldnât she just see that?
âIâve heard talk in the bar. Y/Nâs having an affair with that new guy. Sheâs such a bitch. How could she hurt you like that? I donât understand why you havenât broken up with her, youâre still letting her live in that house, just causing yourself more pain.â Jess said quietly. Sam laid there and let his mind drift to you. Were you sleeping with that Ryan? Or were you at home, curled up on the couch watching TV? Sleeping? Happy that Sam wasnât there? He looked over at Jess who was still talking, but he couldnât hear a word she was saying. Why couldnât it have worked out between them? Then he wouldnât have his heart crushed.
Deep down, Sam hated himself, he still loved you with every fiber of his being but he couldnât bring himself to forgive you. He knew he needed to ask you to leave the house, you were poison to him. Sam leaned up and rolled over on top of her, hovering as she stopped talking to him and smiled.
Sam leaned down and kissed her for a minute before pulling back to look at her again. âOh, I love the way you feel against me.â But it wasnât Jess laying or her voice. It was yours. Your hair spread out on the pillow and Y/E/C shining up at him full of love and happiness. âMake love to me Sam, just like you used to.â Your voice filled his ears before he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, wishing it really was you.
As you stared out the window of your session, Cas took notes on your behavior. The way you just watched the world keep on moving worried him some. âY/N?â Cas said softly. âYou ever think about things Cas?â your voice came out in a heavy, gruff tone. Cas stared at you. âY/N, what do you mean?â You spoke in a dull voice. âLife, love, justâŠeverything in general?â you watched the trees blow in the wind. âDo you often think about those things?â he asked softly. You turned and looked at him with empty eyes. âI do. I think about how different life could be. How happy Sam could beâŠâ you said quietly as Cas watched you, noticing your eyes glazing over.
Cas set his pen down on his notebook, and got up walking over to you. âY/NâŠwhatâs been on your mind lately?â he asked carefully. Your eyes flickered down. âIâm tired Cas, Iâm going to head homeâ You turned and grabbed your coat and purse heading out of the door as Cas sighed standing there watching you walk away.
Sam parked in front of his house and watched as Jess climbed out of the car. He followed her into the house, watching as she kicked her black high heels off at the door and turned to him. âSo, you still playing with all those big bad toys?â she smirked putting her hands on his chest. Sam grabbed her arm and pulled her toward the stairs. âFollow me,â his eyes darkened as his grip tightened around her arm. Sam walked up the stairs, an evil, cold smirk covering his features.
Sam was never soft with Jess; Heâd always been hard and rugged. Sheâd never witnessed him being domesticated like he was with you. Or how he had been with you that is. Youâd changed him; What made you so damn special? You were nobody, just another campus whore. Youâd never be able to please Sam the way she could. She knew him better than anyone. The things she let him use her for, the kinks heâd wanted to explore with her. She showed him how to find pleasure in a world full of pain. Youâd caused him so much pain that now she was going to give him back the pleasure he so desperately needed.
Sam pushed the door open and shoved Jess inside. Heâd never had another woman in his room since you had moved in with him and began to play in this room. âGet undressed and get on your kneesâŠarms out.â He said as he walked over to the wall that held different cuffs and grabbed two wrist shackles.
You walked home wondering how this had become your life. You lived with a man who hated you, and believed your rapist was your secret lover. You sat down on a bench and pulled out a piece of paper from your pocket. If there was anything you could tell Sam, you wanted it written down.
A letter.
You needed to write Sam a letter, telling him everything. How you felt, what youâve been through over the last few months. Truth be told, Sam was your one and only. You loved him so much that there was a small part of you that still wanted to tell him.
Maybe thatâs what the note could say. You could let Sam know what was actually happening, before you tell him your true feelings. Sam deserved better, you just hoped that heâd find it.
You got up and walked home, tucking the paper back into your pocket. Your mind was made up about the letter, once you were home youâd write it all out and lay it on his pillow before packing your stuff and leaving. You were telling Sam everything today. In that letter.
As you turned the corner, there sat Samâs charger parked in the drive way. Sam had told you that he had errands to run and that he wouldnât be home for a while. You wanted to write it while he was out so when he came home, youâd already be gone.
You quietly walked up to the front door and opened it stepping inside out of the cold air. Just as you closed the door and turned around to take your jacket off, you noticed something. Black high heels. Youâd never left your heels by the front door, in case Sam stepped on them and got hurt. You looked around the house, it was a little too quiet for your liking. Where was Sam?
You walked upstairs quietly and looked around. The bedroom door was wide open and then you heard it. The sound of metal clanking against metal. It was faint, but you heard it. You looked down the hallway to the closed door. Turning to the right, you slowly walked down the hallway to the door.
The door to Samâs play room.
Your finger gently slid around the handle and twisted it until it clicked free. Pushing the door open, you took everything in. The shine that Samâs sweaty skin gave off in the dimmed lighting as he pushed into her. The blonde bartender from the campus bar. Her long, bright as sunshine blonde hair wrapped firmly around Samâs hand, her throat exposed as she moaned his name loudly. Her arms were shackled to the grate that hung from the ceiling.
The door hitting the wall caught Samâs attention. His eyes snapped to the door where you stood. The broken look in your eyes wasnât missed by him. You slowly swallowed back the bile that rose in your throat and began to back away, tears filling your eyes. âY/N!â Sam yelled as you turned and began to run down the hallway, ignoring the pain between your legs, and the ache that spread all over your body.
The metal clanked more as Sam quickly let Jess go after sliding his jeans on. He took off after you, the front door slamming shut just as he came down the stairs. As he opened it back up, your car was speeding down the road.

Good News (Race x reader)
Request: Race x reader with the soulmate au where you have your soulmates name written on you. but the thing is, race goes by race (not his real name, anthony. according to the movie) so the reader doesnât know itâs him? -Anon
[My computer crashed while writing this so I had to rewrite it. I am not a happy bunny.] [Update: I finished this like two days ago and FORGOT to post it Iâm such a fake writer Iâm sorry. -Fiona]
Anthony. The name youâve known all your life. Everyone grows up with two names, their own and their soulmates. Their soulmateâs name inscribed on their wrist, always the left, like a birthmark.
So, somewhere out there, there was a boy called Anthony who you were destined to be with. That was always a strange thought to you, almost daunting. Youâre not supposed to go looking for a soulmate, itâs always a chance meeting. And you were no different.
You were getting a newspaper for your parents, as you did every day. You got your paper from the same newsboys, always Buttons, Jack, or Albert. All big flirts, of course. But it was such a sunny day today, the short walk to your usualâs selling spot wouldnât be enough for you. You decided to take a different turn in your journey, newsies were everywhere so youâd have no trouble finding someone else to sell you your paper.
Sure enough, later on in the day when it had gotten cooler and you were done walking, there were several newsies on the street waving their papers.
As if reading your mind, a voice caught your attention, âYou wantinâ a pape, miss?â The voice belonged to a newsboy.
âŠAnd damn, this boy was it. Blonde curls unneatly tucked into a typical newsboy cap. He was smiling at you, and as you looked at him he put a cigar in his mouth. You walked sheepishly towards him.
âHi. Uh yeah, Iâll have a paper, please.â You said shyly, the smile didnât leave the newsieâs face.
âSure thing, doll.â He replied with what must have been the thickest accent youâd ever heard. He handed over a newspaper and you gave him the money, which he tossed into the air and caught again, âYou had that look about ya.â
âThat look?â
âLike you were looking for something.â The boy told you, studying you inquisitively.
âA look of looking?â You repeated, laughing softly. âAnd you thought that thing was a newspaper?â
âWell if youâre lookinâ for sumân and you donât know what it is, maybe itâs some good news.â He replied, tapping the pape in your hands, âThe headlineâs nuttinâ special, but you see stories aboutâŠpeople savinâ kittens in trees and stuff.â
You laughed, the boy smiled again at his own words. God, he was awkward. A silence fell over you for a few seconds.
âCongratulations on winning the strike.â You said, remembering the conversation youâd had with Jack the day before.
Immediately the boyâs face lit up, âThanks! Wanna see me in the pape?â He whipped out a single page from his pocket and unfolded it neatly. You recognized it as the front page from the New York Sun sometime the week before.
The boy pointed to one of the smiling faces on the page, âSee dat? Datâs me in the pape!â He declared with such excitement he was almost jumping on the spot.
âAw, heâs doing it again!â Another boy shouted from across the road, another newsie.
âQuit botherinâ the customers, Race!â A third one yelled.
âBother yourselâ, Iâm famous!â Your newsboy yelled back, who you now knew as Race. The cigar was out of his mouth and wedged between the fingers of his balled fist to make a charming hand gesture to his pals.
âYou all look great.â You chimed in, turning Raceâs attention back to you.
âThank you, madam. Can I count on your custom tomorrow? I wonât move from this very spot just for you.â Then Race clicked his heels and saluted proudly like a soldier. You laughed, but it was a nervous one⊠Wow, was it getting hot or was it just you? âŠ.Or was it just him?
You broke out of your train of thought, heâs a charmer, itâs part of his job thatâs all.
âWeâll see, Race.â You replied, a smile playing on your lips.
âIâll be waiting.â You hear him call as you walk away.
You tried to stay away, you really did. The next morning you kept looking at your wrist. Anthony was out there somewhere and yet you couldnât tear your thoughts away from this newsboy. Race wasnât your soulmate, so why did you feel so connected to him? When you left the house that morning you werenât even walking to get a paper but once you saw Race, exactly where he said heâd be, you couldnât not speak to him again. He saw you approaching he waved, then wiped his hand on his pants, almost looking anxious.
âHey, doll. Beautiful day, ainât it?â He greeted, stretching his arms out, papes in hand.
âI guess.â You replied, looking up at the gray cloudy sky, âNot like yesterday, though. Any good news in the pape today?â
âNot much. But I gotsa special pape right here for ya anyways.â Race took a newspaper from the top of the pile but wouldnât give it to you yet.
âWhatâs special about it?â You ask before mentally scolding yourself for sounding too flirtatious. Race smirked and lifted the paper to his lips, planting a kiss on it before giving it to you.
âThat is.â He said smugly. You blushed madly, so did he. Then you both heard a wolf whistle from one of Raceâs friends from the day before, not so subtly hiding behind a lamppost.
Race cleared his throat and looked at his shoes, âAnyway, itâs stupid, I know.â
âNo, ignore him.â You said quickly, smiling reassuringly, âYouâre sweet.â
Race was still looking down, but you saw the big grin spread across his face. Then he started walking around, but only ever a few steps away from you, sometimes tapping his feet on the paves, âSo, I still donât know your name, sweetheart.â
âItâs Y/N.â You said, you already knew to your disappointment that it wasnât his name on your wrist, so you were surprised when Race almost tripped over nothing. He wobbled and looked at you with a new urgency in his eyes.
âLemme see yer wrist.â Race said, speaking so fast it almost came out as one word.
You sighed, feeling a downward tug on your heart, âItâs not yo-â
âAnthony! My nameâs Anthony!â He blurted, searching for a reaction on your face, and he saw what he was hoping for. âPlease, lemme see.â
He reached his hand out between you, it was visibly trembling. Just as shaky you put your own hand in his. He turned it over to see the name etched into your skin, running his finger over the familiar letters. Without shifting his gaze from the name, he showed you his free hand with your name on his wrist.
âYou asked sumân about good news?â Race Anthony said, finally looking up from your arm with the biggest smile on his face.
You still had a gentle grip on his wrist, struggling to form words, âI- I am not entirely sure whatâs going on.â You managed to say. Anthony laughed at the expression on your face.
âYeah, sorry, musta been a shock. Race is a nickname⊠you should probably know I have a thing for gamblinââ
âI have never been so happy to hear that.â You said through a sigh, putting your hand on the back on his head and bringing his lips to meet yours. He immediately melted into the kiss, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you closer.
Then you heard the erupted applause of the crowd of newsies that had now gathered a few meters away from you.
âExtra, extra! A true miracle of God has happened this day, folks! Race has a gurlfriend!â

How Each MBTI Deals with Drama
(this is based on my experiences lmao donât kill me if its not 100% accurate)
ENTJ, INTJ: Either doesnât have time for that shit because school is more important OR completely fucks up peopleâs lives cuzâŠ. fun.
INTP: Either doesnât give a rats ass OR low-key makes a plan to fuck shit up
ENTP: Is involved in the drama but honestly doesnât give a fuck how it turns out
ISTP, ESTP: Reallyyyyy doesnât give a fuck but might vocationally just sit back and watch how shit goes down
ESFP: Might be near/be the center of the drama and either tries to sort things out or just slowly fucks shit up due to their attitudeÂ
ISFP: Also might be near the center of attention and inevitably gets fucked over but still finds a way to rise on top of it.
ESTJ, ENFJ: Probably in the center of the drama just fucking things up like always lmao
INFP: Is also involved but either falls into depression because all the drama got to them OR gets adrenaline for like 5 minutes and roasts the fuck out of everyone who ever did them wrong
ENFP: Involved in drama due to their friendships, tries to work things out for a while but if shit gets too deep they FUCKK things up cuz they low-key want to.
ISFJ, INFJ: Is too mature for it and just tries to sort things out
ISTP, ISTJ: Gives less fucks of all, probably studying or doing whatever ISTJs do (sorry I am an ENFP idk what u guys do lmao
