Hey 3prout! I had a question for you What was your base process to make your strawpage in terms of design and what tools did you use? (for ex. for making the gifs, getting the images, etc). hi ny00m B: ] if you havent played around with the website, i implore you to!! make a site where you fck around and find out[find what works and doesnt cause theres alot i cant tell all 💔], remember to periodically save your site tho [strawpage doesnt autosave]
i have a pinterest board where i find and keep inspo! its also where i find some of the images i use but for my 3priftlock strawpage, i made most of the images[the checkerboard boarder/flower pixels] and the boxes myself
[NOTE: try not to overwhelm yourself with too much inspo, i usually take 2-3 carrd/rentry/strawpage from pint to mish mash together]
it helps to section parts of your strawpage w boxes of stuff u want in your strawpage. and also to what u want ppl to see first and last [mine were socials at the start and gimmicks at the end]
the blue parts are fun stuff to fill the space and for theme-ing [my sona + stuff i like] and you can also tell how i tried to keep a consistent pallete [green, white, black, and grey] it helps make everything more cohesive
and also i take advantage of making stuff look more animated by using gifs[i make the pixel personal art ones in aseprite! but you can make gifs through ezgif too], scrolling text and making stuff spin through the "fun" tool
you also might notice if youre on computer that i have a "main" section and the "sides"
the "main" red section is where mobile users are able to see, while the sides are just fun kinda easter eggs u can see if youre on pc
but if youre making your strawpage on phone alone you shouldnt worry abt this, i will say it will be more difficult to make[more finicky] 😭 BUT! not impossible, i used to only be able to use my phone/tablet to make my strawpages B: )
