Meanwhile, Mary was outside of the closet, but in the room where it was. She was actually looking for some soft pillows and blankets, and a few other things. It didn’t take long for Mary to find a bunch of nice, soft blankets, and about a dozen pillows, and some strings and whatnot. 

Eventually she returned to the closet, and extended her longer tentacles and used them as extra limbs, to set up a blanket fort of sorts. She tried to wake Observer up, so she could show him the blanket fort, and add some softness to the hard ground by placing a soft mattress on the floor.

"Obs, wake up. Wake up. Obs. Hey Obs. I wanna show you something neat."

She poked him, waiting for at least one eye to open on his body.
