We currently don't have big plans together. Producing and selling merch is way easier as just a cute cat idol. I never got much further than the photoshoot with ching came when trying to get some oppertunities for us as a duo. So I'm kind of working solo right now again, but I'm sure we'll keep working together whenever the oppertunity presents itself.

Oh it was a pretty simple situation, nyaa! Early on in our collaboration we were discussing a potential shared theme and I suggested being cat idols together. Totoko-Chan declined repeatedly but I know that her fish idol theme won't get her popular, and that she'll have to realize it soon. So I designed and gave her a cat themed idol outfit and told her to just keep it around and consider wearing it one day. She insisted she'd throw it into a furnace but guess what I saw online a few weeks later...

She kept the outfit! And also tried it on to test how cute it was! According to the Omusubis' report on their Website that outfit got a full 100 points on the cuteness scale! So cats really are the cutest, nyaa~ Now if only Totoko-Chan could accept that fact

so like obviously it's an rp blog but i gave it the name nyaa-chan-official for a reason, that being that this is supposed to be like,, an official idol blog, an actual branding thing. so its important to remember that this blog is for nyaa-chan(the idol) not nyaa hashimoto(the person). that means that an ask like this

is unfortunately gonna have to be deleted, since nyaa having a baby is still supposed to be a big secret, hence why shes usually in some kinda 'disguise' in public, in the form of grey clothes that dont grab your attention at all, and the big sunglasses from the imoni skit. thats also the main reason she immediately blocked osomatsu and karamatsu for calling her a milf (and choromatsu for being associated lol)

There ARE some sea-life themed idols that are fairly popular, allthough they're fictional. Have you ever heard of Splatoon? The game has two groups of idols called the Squid Sisters and Off The Hook, and they're really popular among fans of the game. Maybe you could get some inspiration from their designs to go for a sea creature theme after all!

These four idols look very interesting! I guess something like this could work, because you can tell they're based on squids (and an octopus) but it's not grossly all in your face. They even look cute! I guess if Totoko-Chan tried something more lowkey and cutely stylised like this for the fish image, we could make it work.
