wish interactive fiction would become the hip new popular medium rather than being a fairly niche nerd thing, because the kinds of faux-academic mini essays from the most insufferable people in the world about the different implications of the narrative and such and such and restriction / illusion of choice within your own story that you are told you create would slap, I think

im half wondering whether mhin refers to 鸣 (”bird call” in chinese, among other meanings) but it sounds a little mean referring to their curse

thinking back to that imagined leander & mc conversation i did, about him not letting them get the cure ... i feel like i portrayed him too recklessly. i agree with theories saying he isn’t stupid. but i still like to think there’s a chance he doesn’t give it to mhin even though that means not giving it to mc, for the angst i guess

Consider…

Making ocs for the groups within touchstarved.

Like, Bloodhound oc members, members taht either know Leander’s darker side or are loyal to a complex degree. (Or go full assassins creed with this) that interact or teach your hound oc something

Senobium ocs that interact with your alchemist mc and Mhin/Kuras. And yes, you can mess with them and/or prank them too.

Sea spring/soulless/monster ocs for the unnamed mc to talk to or befriend

You could like mix and match so each MC has something to learn or gain but idk it’s be interesting to me~
