Let’s be honest: no one is ever breaking into your house. Franco is intensely territorial.
He insists on checking the locks, windows, and doors multiple times before bed.
If a delivery driver knocks too loudly, Franco is already at the door, looming, looking ready to demand their credentials. You constantly have to remind him, "Franco, he's just delivering the mail, leave him alone."
He’s incredibly handy around the house. If something breaks, he doesn't call a repairman; he fixes it himself with a massive toolkit, looking entirely too pleased with his own strength.
Franco doesn't really understand the concept of "personal space" when it comes to you.
If you are sitting on the couch, he isn't sitting next to you; he is sitting on you, or trapping you in a massive, heavy arm-lock hug. He functions like a 200-pound lap dog.
He has a habit of resting his chin on top of your head or your shoulder while you’re trying to do things, just watching you work or scroll through your phone.
His love language is incredibly physical and grounded—heavy hugs, holding your hand so tightly your knuckles turn a little white, and constantly needing to make sure you're within arm's reach.
Franco absolutely takes over the kitchen. Do not try to cook when he’s in the zone; he views the kitchen as his personal empire.
He cooks with zero measurements, going entirely by vibe, smell, and whatever secret family tradition is locked in his head. The kitchen is usually a disaster area while he’s cooking—flour everywhere, pots boiling over—but the food somehow turns out incredible.
He is deeply offended if you don't eat enough. If you have a bad day and lose your appetite, he takes it as a personal mission to coax you into eating, practically spoon-feeding you if he thinks you're neglecting yourself.
He oscillates between wanting to completely pamper you and needing a ridiculous amount of reassurance from you.
If you're sick or stressed: He goes into total lockdown mode. You are not allowed to leave the bed. He will bring you tea, extra blankets, and sit by the bed like a gargoyle guarding a treasure. He gets incredibly anxious if he thinks you are hurting or unhappy.
His soft side: For all his bravado, size, and rough edges, he is deeply attached to you. If you go out without him for too long, he gets restless. The moment you walk through the door, he’s right there, wrapping you up in a rib-crushing hug, muttering about how long you were gone.
He still has that short fuse and that booming, dramatic voice, but he tries so hard to dial it back around you.
When he gets frustrated (usually by something stupid, like IKEA furniture instructions or a stubborn jar lid), he’ll start pacing and swearing under his breath.
All it takes to calm him down is you walking over, putting a hand on his chest, and telling him to take a breath. He’ll immediately melt, deflate, and lean into your touch, completely pacified by the fact that you’re focusing on him.
- When he spots his favorite Reagent, his entire demeanor shifts. The frantic, violent energy turns into something more like a dark game of hide-and-seek. He’ll slow his pace, intentionally dropping loud hints about where he is just to tease them, making sure they have a "fair" chance to run.
- If the trial gets too chaotic and other Ex-pops or Prime Assets are cornering his favorite, Franco will actually step in. He doesn’t want anyone else breaking his favorite toy. He’ll clear the threat out of the way with a warning growl, giving his favorite a brief, terrifying window to escape out the back door.
- He hates when other Reagents get too close to them. If he sees his favorite running with a group, he will specifically target and brutally chase down the others first, completely ignoring his favorite until they are isolated.
- If he really likes a Reagent, he’ll leave small "gifts" for them in places he knows they’ll look—like sitting right on top of a battery pack, a syringe crate, or a master key desk. It might be a shiny bottle cap, a cool-looking gear, or a specific ribbon. It’s his way of saying, I was here, and I thought of you.
- He has a specific, lighter tone to his voice that he only uses for them. The harsh, screaming tantrums disappear. Instead, he speaks in a low, almost cooing, distorted murmur—calling them a "good kid" or using his own strange, possessive nicknames for them when they manage to pull off a clever escape.
- If he manages to get close enough without a fight breaking out, he’s oddly fascinated by the contrast between them. He might reach out a heavy, grime-covered hand just to tug gently on their hair, touch the fabric of their uniform, or trace the edge of their rig. It’s a strangely quiet, grounded moment before the reality of the trials snaps back in.
- If his favorite Reagent successfully completes a trial and escapes back to the sleep room, Franco doesn’t actually get angry about the loss. He’ll sit back in the shadows of the trial grounds, meticulously cleaning his lupara, feeling an odd, warped sense of pride that his favorite was the one smart enough to survive him.
He definitely stress bakes/ cooks. Due to this, he is definitely an amazing cook, and if you're lucky enough to be his friend, partner, or someone he just doesn't kill and likes enough to keep around, he will definitely bake or cook for you!
However, he will definitely throw a tantrum if something goes wrong in the kitchen or if you don't like it! But he will be very happy if you like it or if it turns out how he wanted!
