Did some killer small mouthing on the St. Louis River this summer.
We managed to travel 24 miles total on the river and only got rained on once. At points, the river was completely grown over by wild rice and bullrushes.
Not a good sign...
We launched from Dora Lake and headed down the muddy Big Fork River.
It's a beautiful day for survival. We decided to bring some fishing gear this year but only the basics. Â
In our trusty canoe with no food and no shelter, we brave the rusty waters of the Big Fork River, MN. We're canoeing roughly 25 miles through questionable rapids and pike laden territory. Pictures to follow.
A couple of your favorite survivalists got out for the Minnesota fishing opener. We had a perfect day and the fish were practically jumping in the canoe.
Another successful survival weekend. We pushed hard and it made for one epic time. We brought along first time survivor/ life long friend Chad.Â
This long weekend the Nyberg Brothers will be surviving in the Chippewa National Forest, we’ve planned a hike that will end at the historic Joyce Estate. We will be accompanied by a special guest, stay tuned.
It’s not often a Minnesota fishing opener can be enjoyed in a t-shirt.
FORAGER level up! Only found one but it was delicious. Starting to pop up in Grand Rapids, MN.
The fiddleheads are prime for picking.
The Nyberg brothers are at it again.
Early spring foraging in Minnesota.

A nice review to go with our new tattoos.
The Nyberg Brothers got matching Buck Knife 110 tattoos. This was a knife our dad always had on him, its a trustworthy sturdy knife that will never leave you hanging.
Orange Lake. Deer River, MN. One last camping trip before it’s starts getting Minnesota cold.
