Last night was such an amazing networking event with Mums In Business International, North Aberdeenshire & The Mearns. A keep fit session, tips on what we as woman can do to help ourselves to get through the pre menopause, menopause itself and post menopause. Something that has been highlighted by a few ladies lately within groups that I’m in, is the effect that caffeine has on us without us actually realising it. So, I recently reduced the amount of coffee that I drink from an awful lot (more than 13 a day 🤦‍♀️) down to just 2-3 cups. It was difficult the first few days but it really has been quite an achievement for me. I’ve always been well known for being a coffee lover and to be honest, I’d rather have a coffee over water or juice. To say I’m proud of myself is a wee bit of an understatement right now 😊 Thank you @thelovelifecommunity for making me stop, think and act. I have digressed I fear 🤣, not something I ever do …. New release from tomorrow 😊 Good morning, it’s wet and miserable but I’ve been very busy (well, I like to think so). Thank you to Liz who came and helped me with photos this morning (we all know that I’m hopeless at them). So here we have an apothecary bottle and a tall square bottle which are 2 tone. We have limited no’s and if they do well, we will stock more. They will be available with either the standard black reeds or with a beautiful white floral reed. I’m biased and in love with both of them and really can’t decide which one I prefer. The apothecary bottle will come with the diffuser liquid in a separate bottle for you to fill when you receive it and the square will come pre-filled. Good morning lovelies, we’re officially in BST. We get up to daylight and it’s lighter for longer. So even though the clocks went forward and we’re minus an hour of sleep, I think I’ve got my balance right for today, well here’s hoping so anyway. The sun is shining and there’s a light breeze, which are all signs of a good day ahead. I’m patiently waiting on it to go up a few degrees so that I can get some setting and de-moulding finished. Hello sunshine ☀️, we have wind but also glorious sunshine for a change 😊 Yesterday I spent the day surrounded by the scent of one of my favourite perfumes. I’m very lucky that I’m able to do this but I amazed myself at just how relaxed it made me and just how much more productive I was. I was finally able to take all my jumbled notes for an upcoming new release and piece them together to create a finished piece. It still needs some fine tweaking but it’s almost there now. World Book Day How do you read yours? In the bath? In bed? Stretched out on the sofa? As long as you’re comfy and enjoying your book, that’s all that matters. Whether your reading for enjoyment or doing some research, reading is good for you. Welcome March, Not long to go now until Mother’s Day. This year it is on Sunday 19th of March. As promised, an update on where we are at with everything. We will be releasing two new candle fragrances on March 10th. 🕯️ Damson Plum, Rose & Patchouli 🕯️ Thai Lime & Mango These will be available in both our regular candle glasses (20cl) and in the newer bigger size (30cl). Good morning lovelies, It’s a beautiful crisp, sunny morning here. That’s me taking a few days off to try to regain some energy and see if I can pick myself up. January seen me floored with many lingering migraines and generally totally exhausted. An unfortunate fact of life and sad to say that the older we get, the longer it seems to take to pick yourself back up. Happy pancake day, Hello lovelies, I’m awfy late with posting today but in my defence, I have been busy pouring and setting orders this morning. Needed to have them all done so that I can be free to make pancakes with the wee ones this afternoon. They do love their nana’s pancakes 🥞☺️ Quick update on new releases: I’m a wee bit closer to approving the new candle scents, bigger glasses as well. Chosen the exploding boxes which will offer a choice of a different style of gift box. I’m hoping to have these finalised this week and ready to start sending out by March 7th. Can’t believe that’s us almost half way through February ….. time is just passing me by. So, I opted for a fun filled family day up at @glenesk_folk_museum Today we are here both as a crafter offering activities for the younger ones and as a family. We have some wax melts that can be decorated, @ss_sam779 is here with card making and there’s a lovely gentleman doing calligraphy. We’re going to enjoy our afternoon tea, then grandad is going to go for a walk with the young ones. #selfcaresundays Today is a day for taking care of your inner self. Time to relax and unwind and spend some quality time on yourself and with your family. Any pending tasks will still be there later and after giving yourself some ‘ME’ time, you’ll get through them so much quicker. For me, I am having a lazy morning so far. We’ve had breakfast and I’ve had coffee. Watching CBeebies with our youngest grandson and then in a wee while, him and I will go and meet our other two grandchildren and their mummy and spend some time at the soft play. Then it’ll be lunch time and I’ll finish off the afternoon when the wee man’s gone home with a relaxing coffee, a chapter in my book whilst melting some Scottish heather melts in the burner. A day with a twist 😊 booked in the diary. Saturday 11th and 12th at Glenesk Folk Museum. We will be there on the 11th and our wee area is going to be set up in such a way that the wee ones can colour and play with play dough and they can get to buy some wax melts.
