I feel dumb.

When you find yourself doing something dumb you try to cover up. To salvage any remaining part of your ego that still is. That self pride that normally translates to immediate representation of self worth. And then you normally end up doing something dumber. All for what? A deed is done. You can't take it back- just try the best you can not to make it worse. But that doesn't work - you have an ego in the way! Remember? It strives to build up your outer image. Make sure no one else notices the fuckup. And it makes things so much harder to fix. Because when your in a dump and need help, you might find yourself exolaining more than once how you got there. How many times will your ego let you repeat yourself until you feel the need to hide? Apparently for me it's two or three, then I just wish the ground would swallow me. So I feel dumb digging myself a grave of shame. Because like any feeling- shame is a choice when you find power over it. And my shame this time is stronger than me. And thats just. Dumb.
