I just realized I haven't really introduced myself properly.
Hello! I am Nyxx, I have been a kpop fan for about 2 years at the time of writing this. This is my side blog, My Main is @nyxx-shade13
This blog is where I post my thoughts and opinion on Kpop, be it groups/soloists, songs or the industry in general.
I also reblog posts about groups I enjoy.
My ultimate goal is simply to share my opinions about a music genre I love.

...This is a World Cup song...and Lisa is once again talking about herself and how rich, hot, and powerful she is...
I honestly wouldn't even call this a song. This is a barely functioning mantra. Instead of actually good lyrics they have her repeat goals for three minutes while barely moving on one of the cheapest sets I've seen for an MV.
Also...this has nothing to do with Football/Soccer outside of the repeated 'Goals' and there being a small match in the MV.
Forgive me for asking..but shouldn't a world cup song be about..uniting the world around Football/soccer? Not about self worship?...

My God Soyeon went hard on this track. They all did, holy fuck. The power and control against the beat is incredible.
This group still have a hunger to be better and fight for their legacy 8 years in. They are constantly working on new music and striving for the best.
I love the references to Yuqi being China's it girl and Shuhua's do you know who I am moment. Soyeon's rap and Minnie's siren voice are as strong as Ever and Miyeon is elegant yet lethal as usual.
I'd argue this is their strongest track in a while. I hope the album matches it's energy.

Lemon Tang - Hearts2Hearts
We just need Red Velvet to complete the lemon trilogy.
It's a summer song, very bright and bouncy. The lyrics are zesty and fun and match the concept and music well. I think it's a nice follow up to RUDE!
Some of the visuals remind me of Umpah Umpah! By Red Velvet and I think that's fun.
I do appreciate the 3 minute length. The bridge was nice and the final chorus had the proper amount of energy.
I like it overall. It's pleasant.

I am aware that the usual complaint is that Black Pink never branch out from their usual genres..and I see why..because when they do it's honestly the blandest version of a genre.
I can't even remember the song and I just listened to it before writing this review. That's how bored I was.
Moving on...Oh look...Jisoo only gets like three lines once again...yay. Again I'm obviously not a Blink...but I still think it's stupid when one member gets so few lines.. especially in a 4 person group. It's fucking stupid I'm sorry.
The MV is so fucking boring and bland. The women just pose and barely move...the backgrounds are mushy and blurry as shit. The 'CG' looks so off that I'm not surprised it got AI allegations.
I'm just... I'm so done...expect this on the worst list in December.
I'm gonna review Crow tomorrow. Haven't listened to it in full yet but I'm interested based on the teasers.
