Shared by the campaign at 9PM EST 7/22/16, just 3 days away from the convention, with the caption:
âForever committed, forever fighting, forever fighting.â
Ultimately, what the Sanders endorsement has proved is what the candidate was arguing from the beginning â that it was not Sanders and his campaign that was holding Hillary Clintonâs poll numbers back.
Initially, there was much dismay among Sanders supporters, with some early responses expressing outrage at his âbetrayalâ. Most of his backers felt that he should have not endorsed her till at least the convention if he did not get the nomination; others felt that he should have run as an independent candidate or team up with the Green Partyâs Jill Stein. After agonizing for months over why in the world Sanders wasnât interested in the Vice Presidential spot, the corporate-run mainstream media explained that Sanders was backing out as Hillary Clinton had offered him several concessions on policy issues. In the next few days, with the bizarreness of the moment over, a clearer picture emerged:
The endorsement speech Sanders made was nearly identical to his stump speech, only that he attributed all the ideas and promises as Hillary Clintonâs and not just his. He listed off the accomplishments of his campaign in terms of votes, delegates, state victories, political participation and ideological shifts nationally â with Hillary Clinton nodding her head uncomfortably, beside him. Some of the Clinton promises that Sanders listed out were concessions that had not even been agreed to publicly by the Clinton camp yet. After getting over with the aforementioned, Sanders declared that Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee, and then he pledged to defeat Donald Trump, sharply attacking the presumptive Republican nominee. It took several hours for people to realize that Sanders hadnât officially conceded â something the mainstream papers and TV news pundits have still not bothered to mention.
While Sanders had endorsed Secretary Clinton and relinquished his Secret Service protections â he has not dropped out of the race or freed his delegates. He will still be going to the Philadelphia convention with his 1900 delegates to continue to push for the issues that his campaign had been about.
Adopt a Bernie Delegate: http://www.adoptaberniedelegate.com
Sanders needs all his delegates out in Philly, every. Single. National. Delegate.
It should be addressed to everyone that bernie sanders is not officially an establishment sellout for endorsing Clinton, I've heard this too much already. He has a 40 year record of fighting for the policies you support him for having. Does all that get washed away because he endorsed her? No. He did not endorse her because she's Hillary Clinton, he endorsed her because She Is Not Donald Trump.
This is a complicated subject.
Am I disappointed that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have endorsed Hillary Clinton? Yes. Do I feel like I have lost two progressive heroes? Yes.
Does that make them sell-outs?
I donât expect Elizabeth Warren to stop fighting the good fight. Thereâs no doubt in my mind that she will still be out there fighting her heart out. And Bernie Sanders right along with her. None of that changes.Â
And, to those who were paying attention, from the very beginning Bernie has made it his mission to (1) build a political revolution among the American public, particularly young voters who had given up on the political process, and (2) to push the Democratic party to the left where they should be. Bernie has succeeded dramatically in both cases.
Am I writing him off? No. But he has taken the movement as far has he meant to take it. He has always said that this wasnât about him. It was about the revolution. And it is now up to us to carry it with new progressive leaders. That is the vision looking forward, and that is what we all must turn to even if Bernie won the election.
That said, am I not really freaking pissed at Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren for endorsing the very establishment theyâve been fight against! Yes! You can bet to hell that I freaking am!
But, Bernie has said from the beginning that he would not split the Democratic party and that he would do everything he could to stop Trump. I imagine Elizabeth comes from a similar train of thought.
The fact is, a large part of this country is still stuck in a two-party system. We donât see third party candidates as viable. Every day, I see on my Tumblr feed accusations that voting third party is voting Trump. And thatâs absolutely absurd. But that is the mindset weâre stuck in. And Bernie and Elizabeth know that.
And as long as weâre stuck in that mindset, we canât break out of the establishment hold on our presidential elections. Because make no mistake, neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are here for the people. For Bernie and Elizabeth, the revolution is coming, but itâs not here yet.Â
But that doesnât mean they are no longer with us. And it doesnât mean they wonât still fight with us. Itâs just our job now to fight for them and wake the rest of the country up.
And yes, you can be BOTH upset at the two of them and still carry on the progressive fight in their name. You can do both!
There is now one democrat who can beat Trump, and it isnât Hillary Clinton. Establishment democrats: you are shooting yourselves in the foot by insisting that she is electable. She canât even beat a reality tv star who wants to have sex with his own daughter. There are now multiple independent polls proving her weakness and Donaldâs slow climb up the polls. He is now turning to the center making himself more appealing to moderates. Vote Hillary if you want to have a president Trump. Vote for Bernie Sanders if you want a different outcome. Your cognitive dissonance can only take you so far, reality doesnât care.
Congrats Democratic establishment. Youâre about to make way for a Trump presidency.
This is from a TRUMPÂ rally, TONIGHT 6/14/16.
For ALL of you who still feel that he and his possible administration would be just like those from other candidates.
THIS is what YOU all will let happen.
#DictatorDonald is the most disgusting man in the country.
This is what THE DNC will let happen if the super delegates vote for the candidate that ties or polls worse than Trump, rather than vote for the candidate that nationally polls far better than Trump.
Keep fighting, itâs not over - we have a candidate right in front of us that can easily prevent a Trump presidency.
Write to the superdelegates. Call superdelegates. Get out to Philly for a peaceful demonstration (if possible).

So important!!! If youâre a California voter PLEASE help out. We need people we can trust and for the real results to be made public ASAP.
Bernieâs back in DC and he could use our help this coming Tuesday to get even more delegates; the final primary, though votes and investigations are pending. Go to voteforbernie.org for voting info, and for the rest of us, please go to berniesanders.com/phonebank
Possible 19% swing in Hillary Clintonâs favor happened in Chicago that may have not only lost Chicago, but the entire state of Illinois for Bernie Sanders after it was discovered that State Board of Elections Auditors were witnessed changing votes to match reported Primary night totals.

Nevada, New York, and now Illinois, state after state is running into potential tampering in Clintonâs favor.
I highly encourage everyone to share this. Not just on Tumblr, but also on Twitter and Facebook if you use them. This miscarriage of democracy needs to be publicized to the fullest extent. Itâs unlikely that the Clinton-favoring media will cover this story, so convince the writers of media-critical programs like The Daily Show, The Nightly Show, and/or Last Week Tonight to do a segment covering these incidents.
Is anyone surprised? I mean really.
And California wtf
Shit like this honestly scares me.

During his speach in Santa Monica as the crowd went wild, a touching moment when Jane reminds Bernie that the people are still with him after Bernie announced he will continue our fight all the way to the convention.
Always. Revolution doesnât stop bc the oppressors continue oppressing. It fuels the fire in our hearts and minds for change. #feel the bern
and independents arenât even in this poll #feelthebern

we need bernie to win. we absolutely need him to win tuesday, june 7thâs primaries. itâs his last shot to get the democratic nomination. and the media knows this, which is why theyâre doing everything they can to suppress voters, such as declaring hillary is the winner even though they donât vote on it till july.
and you can help make sure he win. right now, he leads calfornia by 1 point. 1 point that could be easily swayed into her direction due to voter suppression. how can you help? by phonebankng! if everyone just dedicate a little bit of your time this weekend each day, itâll add up and weâll be able to win enough delegates to push bernie to the nomination. so please, so we can defeat donald trump in the election, phonebank for bernie before june 7th

âOur campaign has the energy and enthusiasm that Clinton does not,â Sanders said. âI believe we can leave that convention with the Democratic nomination.â
