Seung-gil Lee wins his second World title. JJ ends his career with silver. In a bit of a surprise, Minami had the best competition of his career and won bronze over hometown favorite Emil Nekola, who finished fourth.

Yuri (Yurio) Plisetsky is known for his "Russian Punk" persona—short-tempered, ambitious, and fiercely independent. Because he struggles with vulnerability, his romantic gestures are often "acts of service" or subtle, slightly aggressive ways of showing he cares without having to say it directly.

Abrasive Caretaking: If you’re sick, Yurio will drop off medicine and your favorite snacks, but he’ll claim he "just happened to be in the area" or that "you’re being too loud while sneezing".

The "Eat This" Gesture: Taking a page from his grandfather’s book, Yurio expresses love through food. He might track down a specific treat you mentioned once and shove it at you, telling you to "just eat it and shut up" so you don't see him blushing.

Protectiveness: Yurio's fiercely territorial. If someone is bothering you, he won't hesitate to give them a sharp "drop dead" glare or a verbal lashing to get them to back off.

Stealthy Hand-Holding: Yurio isn't big on PDA, but he might hook his pinky with yours or shove his hand into your coat pocket while you're walking together.

Skating for You: For a skater who values technique and "Agape" (unconditional love), performing a program specifically with you in mind is his highest form of devotion. Yurio might not say it out loud, but the intensity of his performance is his way of showing you his soul.

Grandpa’s Approval: Yurio introducing you to his grandfather, Nikolai, is the ultimate sign of commitment. If he takes you to have home-cooked pirozhki with his family, you are officially "his person."

Digital Affection: Yurio's surprisingly active on social media. While his feed is mostly cats and training, he might post a "soft-launch" photo of your shadow or your coffee cup—just enough for people to know he’s taken without him having to get sentimental.

Sorry for the delay, but it's been a crazy couple of days. My husband becomes the first skater ever from Kazakhstan to win Olympic gold. I won my first individual Olympic medal, and if it had to be silver, I'm glad I lost to my husband. My good friend Guang Hong won the bronze.
