Part 1: The Basics

2. When is your birthday?

Me birthday falls in the middle of winter, on the six-and-twentieth day o’ the first month of the Common calendar.  Mum always told me tha’ it was during a particularly terrible snowstorm that kept everyone inside fer the longest.  An’ she told me that I’d fuss an’ fuss unless she sat outside with me once I was big enough to stand the brisk mornings.

Cannae say I ever truly celebrated me own birthday.  Twas always more excitin’ to me to feast fer the others’ than me own.  After all, ye cannae really celebrate while yer cooped up tryin’ to stay outta the cold.

100 Days of Character Development - Day 1

Part 1: The Basics

1.  What is your full name?

Me name’s Nurma Oathmason.  I think if I reckon correctly, the name ‘Nurma’ comes from me mum’s great aunt.

‘Oathmason’ is me clan name.  Rowan “Oathmason” Durthane was me grandpap’s grandpap - me great-great-grandpap.  They said he was the most trustworthy of dwarves - which is a feat, considerin’ all dwarves are true to their word.  But they said that he could say the impossible with a straight face, and sure enough, he’d make it happen.  The oaths he spoke he held to dearly, and everyone around knew if they needed someone to watch a ceremony or someaught, that there was no better dwarf than the Oathmason.

Made it to my first Dwarven Moot in months, this time hosted by Clan Ironbreaker in the Circle of Wills, Arathi Highlands.

PVP duels, roll/remote duels, story time, and heavy drinking.  Can’t go wrong with that on a Saturday night in August!

Nurma Oathmason is looking for able-bodied volunteers for work in the aeries. The hatchlings are ready for training!

This first event will be an introduction to the important task of raising gryphons for transportation and battle.

No experience necessary, though seasoned Gryphon Riders are welcome as well.

Note: It is suggested that you acquire a [Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling] companion pet from the Twilight Highlands pet battle or [Gryphon Hatchling] from the in-game Blizz store if you plan on training a wee beast ICly.
