1997 Contemporary Carousel-Style Rose Horse

Very large stander. Hand-carved from basswood by John Rodgers Garton, “Once Upon a Time” is in the style of a Rose Horse with deep relief rose trappings all around. Used on display for years at a famous north of Boston restaurant.

130x95cm machine sewn quilt (by me), this quilt represents two bunnies on a first date, with one of them kindof overdoing it with a huge flower bouquet, lemon pie and tea. The colored fabric is minky (a fluffly kind of texture, very soft), and inside is a thick layer of quilting fleece. All materials are polyester.
