Well that is not exactly true, it is put together and working fine as we speak, I do still have to design and 3D print some new fan couplings so that I can place four of the fans in better positions.Ā But after a week of using the new build its purring like a kitten.Ā So I am a happy pixel gamer as far as stage 1 of the upgrade goās.

Currently working on the idea of an Intel I7ā8086K upgrade, pretty good cpu for getting me over the next couple of years for now. Although the I-9ās are about obviously I do not think I can justify splashing out more on those especially with new CPU & GPU architecture releases coming out this quarter.Ā The RTX 2080 TI for example and AMDās 2nd GenCPUās, it is actually an awkward time to upgradeā¦

I was not playing games all month ~ honest !! In fact I have been working away silently in the background on Stage 1 ~ Design.
A lot of this was actually writing down a lot of ideas on the game design, as this helps me cement the process together much more firmly.Ā So with regard to the actual game design itself ~ I am spot on target for now.

Well we finally have the PC fully assembled and back working again.. everything went together nicely as planned no leaks and nothing went bang on the first boot either, so could not be happier. Few teething issues with a dodgy SATA cable but easily sorted and after 10 days of running in, it would appear that the CPU didnāt get cremated when the water cooling pump failed so thatās a big relief asā¦

Well what that actually means is that good old faithful Vengeance has finally blown a gasketā¦ although to be more accurate the water cooling pump failed and my CPU was running at 98 degrees on all cores (Normally runs at 32-40) Wouldnt be a problem if you could find a pump to fit the reservoir and the case.. Appears I must have had an end of line unit and after 3 years there isĀ not anything for aā¦

Long overdue and not without a few hiccups along the way ~ I am happy to finally be able to get down and start UV mapping the Hovercraft model at last. Well i say mapping it, I am currently exporting all the parts to separate directories as there are quite a lot them, Ā in fact.
