“I’ve already started planning the nursery.” He admitted, “It’ll be right off our bedroom. I know people like to have it down the hall for a sense of privacy but it just seems so far away, y’know? I don’t want to have to rush down a hallway when they’re crying.”
Did fussy babies run in his family? He’d have to ask. There were so many things he’d have to learn, and he wasn’t entirely certain if he had all the time necessary to learn them. Then again half his books seem to say that parents never stopped learning, and the other half seemed to say that some things came naturally. Would things come naturally? Did it get easier?

Walden seemed thrilled, which was lovely. And it would be great to have more friends with kids. Most of her Hogwarts friends had decided to wait until the war ended, which was understandable, but Alessa was glad to have her kids around anyway. “I don’t think it does,” Alessa said. Sometimes being a parent was exhausting and stressful, but her kids were definitely her favorite people.
