Mara sat in her meditating but her fear of Vader finding out everything made it almost impossible. So, against her mother’s wishes, she contacted someone she knew could help her. “Dad?” She called him through the Force. “Dad I really need you to respond. There was a shift in the galaxy, Obi-Wan could feel it in the Force. A light which once was dim grew brighter against the darkness that threatened to consume it. But out of the darkness he heard something. The voice of his child calling to him. He opened himself and welcomed the connection. Greeted by distress, he responded with calm, "I am here, child. What is worrying you?"
