So despite the fact that there hasn’t been anything new on this blog for well over a year, I’m truly amazed and humbled that there’s still activity to be seen here.

And now that there’s so many new and gorgeous photoshoots out there of Ewan (what with Kenobi being announced and all), I’m kiiiiind of contemplating starting up posting again. Maybe not every day (well, probably definitely not every day), but maybe once a week or so?

What do you guys who are still following me think?

Should I go on the hunt for new material and put it up here?

In the middle of his training, his master found a new more promising pupil, then he watched his master die…

The guy who killed his master also killed his forbidden love out of revenge.

He left his best friend to die. He couldn’t kill him. In Revenge of the Sith Kenobi begs Yoda if he can fight Sidious because he knows he can’t bring himself to kill Anakin. He would rather die by the hands of the Emperor than kill his best friend.

He lives in exile, dealing with his failure to kill Anakin. Vader has become the most evil person in the Universe, Kenobi knew he had the power to end all of it but he couldn’t do it.

He sacrifices himself to inspire Luke to become a Jedi. He knows Luke is the only hope to bring out the good in Vader and bring peace to the Galaxy. If you think about episodes 1-4 as Obi Wan’s story, the prequels are much better than you think.

This is Obi-Wan Kenobi: A phenomenal pilot who doesn’t like to fly. A devastating warrior who’d rather not fight. A negotiator without peer who frankly prefers to sit alone in a quiet cave and meditate. Jedi Master. General in the Grand Army of the Republic. Member of the Jedi Council.

And yet, inside, he feels like he’s none of these things. Inside, he still feels like a Padawan
