A small note regarding Ch 35 bc now as I work on Ch 36 I realize that, as usual, Egg = IDIOT

I retroactively had to go back in Ch 35 and edit Sesshomaru’s final line of dialogue because I am a stupid and I didn’t mean for him to say “wolves” cause that’s gonna throw this whole dramatic ass conversation off the rails 

SO YEAH IT’S BEEN EDITED SO JUST PLAY PRETEND WITH ME THAT I DIDN’T ACCIDENTALLY SUGGEST THAT THE ENTIRE WOLF TRIBE IS R.I.P. CAUSE Y’ALL ALREADY KNOW THEY NOT, THEY HANGIN WITH THE WEIRD-ASS COVEN IN THE WOODS AND SCRATCHING THEMSELVES

As she jarred his heavy, unmoving form, she heard a sound like a bucket of pouring water. She felt hot, corrosive liquid spilling into her lap, and for a second she wondered what had happened until Jakotsu's triumphant giggle confirmed the worst.

"Sliced him nearly in half," Jakotsu said, his voice barely audible through the rush of the blades and the ringing in her own ears. "Wolf-girl, be a dear and help him hold in those internal organs, will you? This is ending far too quickly."
