tony stark inspired a fuckload of kids i know, including myself, to pursue a career in engineering, he made math and software construction and physics look fucking cool

the iron man trilogy in general made the notion of a woman being more competent of a ceo than a Genius Hot Rich White Man look so natural that most of you missed it.

it broke stereotypes left and right, put an accurate portrayal of mental ilness in the focus of the final movie, made an accurate portrayal of the middle eastern situation, had a woman save the hero by physically fighting instead of some cliche cop-out and at the same time, they did it so brilliantly that none of it seemed like pandering and too on the nose so the movies were and still are entertaining as fuck to watch.

iron man movies are better & more impactful than any other marvel movie and its honestly ridiculous that some people on tungler are still reaching for made up reasons to hate on that franchise
