if that witch accepts the interview let's just hope she doesn't get any favoritism, Claudia didn't seem like she was very fond of Tenoch...
Sorry, I don't agree with this take. Claudia behaved quite professionally, with impartiality, the way a journalist should. These are grave accusations being made against Tenoch, and she's handling them with the seriousness and weight they deserve.
Even at the end, when she and Ciro are discussing how they reached out to Elena the day before for a comment, she remained straight faced and reminded the audience that it is their duty to hear from both parties in this matter, to which Ciro responded that searching for answers is always their first duty and they maintain an open forum to both of them.
The interview with Pati was a puff piece. Tenoch has a relationship with TV Azteca, they don't hide their bias towards him. And lets be honest, Pati was practically fan-girling over him. This was not meant to be a hard hitting interview. It was a friendly chat. Not to say this is bad, but this show is the equivalent to Good Morning, America.
And for anyone who hasn't yet realized:
this is a calculated public relations push to help repair his image.
Tenoch has clearly decided he's not going to sit by and watch his career die, and the only way to salvage it is by sitting for interviews and addressing this situation head on.
Of course, he's going to favor more friendly outlets, but he'll also hit the ones that have a more journalistic tone. This two-pronged approach is smart, because it drums up sympathy with people who maybe don't know about the accusations and will be shocked to hear that his children were targeted. The other side will get to the people who perhaps do know about Elena and her accusations, and want to hear his side of it. He was coy with Pati about what his attorneys learned about Elena; he was straight with Claudia about discovering her history of extortion and violence.
The more I think about it though, I don't think she'll have a comment, or it will be something vague and brief. Tenoch and his team found a LEGAL way to keep her from continuing to make her accusations. By issuing a statement, she'll confirm that she maintains her allegations but then she'll have to leave it there, lest she find herself in hot water, and you know how hard it is for her to shut up once she gets going.
Sorry for the essay, I just had a lot of thoughts about all of this.
