ooc: okay yeah i need to try to get back to rose-ing around here . __.;;
ooc: I found Dirk's gum and holy fuck it's delicious and tastes just like orange soda
==> Rose: Proceed to grab Dave at the bus stop because shit is going down.
Dave stepped in and instantly when he saw Dave standing there also he froze and looked at him, his hands still shook and a hand came to his mouth, relief coming over him seeing that Dave, physically on the outside, was okay.
He swallowed hard and kept telling himself to keep it together, he let his hand go down and he couldnt take his eyes off the other, nothing but worry in them. “i…i know you told me not to but i just… i couldnt.. i..needed to get here..”
He was still out of breath a little, and his legs trembled a little when he tried to tell himself to step forward. He didn’t know if Dave would be mad that he was there, he didnt know if he was going to be okay with him being there. Honestly, right now, he didn’t care.
He forced himself to move, and when he did he went right over to Dave and pulled him over gently and wrapped his arms around the other, fingers curling into the cloth of his shirt.
“im sorry i just needed to get here and i just…i wanted to get here and make sure you were okay i just i got scared and i didnt want to wait for a response and i know its selfish to just come here because i felt i needed to or i wanted to despite what you told me but dave, i love you. more than anything and you can push me away tell me to leave i dont care im not going to go anywhere”
Rose climbed out of the car when she pulled over, not very surprised that Dave would dive out before she had the chance to stop. If it came to his boyfriend, he wouldn't stop or hesitate for anything. She frowned and locked the door before running up the steps after Dave. What happened?
Rose froze when she stood in the doorway, watching Davey hug only Dave who looked like a mess, really... He held a gun loosely in his hand. Had he... Had he tried to kill himself? Letting out a soft breath, she was relieved to see Dave was still alive. Swallowing down a lump in her throat she stepped side and stood out on the porch just to let the two have time alone for a moment.
==> Rose: Proceed to grab Dave at the bus stop because shit is going down.
Dave got into the car and closed the door, he didnt grab a jacket, he didnt even grab his bag. He looked at Rose and shook his head, “just drive, i need to get to daves. Now.”
He didn’t even bother to buckle, and he hushed a small apology as he opened the window and lit up a cigarette. he was shaking, hands trembling almost violently. Either from the pain shooting through his pelvis, his nerves, or from him holding back from completely freaking out and becoming a mess. He pushed himself this far to stay calm and under control, he had to. He told himself he had to. He needed to get there, even if he was told not to.
He was going to get there and he was going to see Dave, whether his boyfriend wanted him there or not.
Dave? What was wrong with Davey's boyfriend? Rose didn't ask and just pulled out onto the road again, driving as fast as she could and avoiding the cops at all cost. She wanted to ask him what was going on, but she could tell Davey was shaken up. Trembling, practically hyperventilating, smoking in her car when he knew she only let him as a last resort and even then it was strained. Something bad was happening.
Driving through the roads and turns as fast as she could without crashing once again, Rose pulled up next to the sidewalk in front of Dave's house.
==> Rose: Proceed to grab Dave at the bus stop because shit is going down.
You weren't sure when you started to receive all those text messages from Dave, but once work was calm enough to give you a single moment of peace you came back to your phone only to see a pile of messages of Dave in obvious distress.
You didn't question it, because you knew Dave wouldn't kid around if it wasn't a serious issue. You toss off your apron and grab your bag, telling your manager it was an emergency, and hop into your car faster than you thought possible.
There was a screech of the tires as you peeled out of the parking lot, driving towards the bus stop as fast as you could without crashing into anyone. Sometimes you hated working near the city. All the worst possible drivers were out today.
You pull up and honk the horn when you spot Dave there waiting, leaning over and opening the passenger door for him. "I don't think I've ever seen so many middle fingers in the air at once before in my life."
TG: i just got into town im at the bus stop where we met up the first time when we got back in contact
TT: I'm on my way.
alright im just going to start walking if you get these and leave text me and ill let you know where im at
Text: Shit. I'm on my way. Where are you now?
rose please please please this is super important
rose i need you to drive me somewhere since i lack a car
rose you need to leave work now
==>Rose: Rush out of work to pick up Dave.
Shit. Shit. Shit. You were late. You were so late. WHY did your boss have to keep you overtime at work? Did he not realize you had your best friend you needed to pick up from the hospital? No, of course not. Serving up fried appetizers and cold pasta was more important than anything in this God-forsaken universe.
It didn't help that Pet Day was a best. You tried to get in to the hospital, you even brought the cats and everything. The nurse at the counter was quick to recognize you and send you away completely. There was no way she was going to let you inside, no matter how hard you tried. You did try your best: you can early, you tried to talk your're way through, bribe, even beg. That bitch wasn't letting you through.
So instead you grabbed the only thing you could get; Dave's favorite hot meal from your work place at Perkins. You didn't even take the extra time to change out of your uniform or apron.
Peering through the rain you search up and down the streets for the hospital but paused when you saw--did he really--oh for the love of--! Dave had started walking home. You turn on your blinker and pull up to the sidewalk near him, rolling the window down and scooting over out of the driver's seat so you could see him and he could see you.
"Need a lift?"
DO YOU EVER HAVE FRIENDS WHO ARE IN A REALLY SHITTY SITUATION AT HOME AND YOU JUST WANNA KEEP THEM AT YOUR PLACE FOREVER AND SNUGGLE WITH THEM AND EAT PIZZA AND WATCH YOUR FAVORITE MOVIES TOGETHER AND SHOVE THEIR PARENTS/SILBINGS INTO A BIG PUDDLE OF MUD
GRIM brush test
they finally managed to get their hair to look nice and those assholes got drunk and just sort of followed them around
==> Rose: Get the cats ready for Pet Day at the hospital.
You pull out the dusty cat carriers that you or Dave rarely ever used; you recall that the only time you did use them was when you both brought the cats home in the first place. Otherwise they were the Princesses of the house, roaming where they pleased. Even if they were brought anywhere else, Dave was content to let them wander around in the car as they drove.
Now was the fun part; getting all three of the cats into their separate carriers.
You sigh and look around the house, finding Mischief first in the pile of clean laundry. Again. Despite the laundry basket now place on a shelf where you thought the black cat would not be able to reach, she still found a way into the basket and managed to get black cat hair all over the clothes.
You huff and reach up, prying her from the basket, and into the carrier.
You begin your search for the remaining two; Strife and Goomba Noodle. Those two calicos were the more difficult of the two to squeeze into the carriers. You find Goomba Noodle in the bathroom sink; Really, Goomba? Really? You pick her up and as she squirmed, managed to get her into the carrier without many scratches.
Now, the hard part. Much like in a video game with the mini bosses, when they are so simple and you are lured into a false sense of security, the main boss comes around to bite you right in the ass.
Strife was hiding under Dave's bed. You sigh and looked down at her, reaching in to try to pull her out. After a few scratches you manage to tug her out into the carrier. Taking a few minutes to put some bandaids on your arm, you load the cats into the car and drive off to the hospital.
