Super Soldier Serum The SS Serum is a biomechanical nanite that has adaptive semiotic properties that fuse with the host at a molecular level.
This serum is usually given to young organic life (AKA Kids 4 - 10) because at that time children are still developing an immune system, brain function and have yet to go through some of the first stages of puberty which lock in a lot of their physical traits.
There are three injections separated in monthly doses.
BA 01 - The first dose is designed to reconstruct the immune system and assess the body. Acclimating itself and creating a symbiotic relationship with the body before becoming one with the organic structure. It seeks for ailments, corrects deformities, Increases adaptivity and constructs new and more powerful antibodies and blood cells to strengthen and heal the body. (The first dose is usually the hardest as a lot of the kids experience flu-like symptoms. Those that do not make it are just incompatible with the serum itself and die.) [30% Fatality rate.]
ICI 02 - The second dose affects cognitive function, increasing their Intellectual Capacity as well as increasing brain function and neural networks allowing the user to use 15% of their brain instead of just the 10%. [10% Fatality rate]
S 03 - The last dose is a stabilizer. This ensures that the body does not rip itself apart as it grows with the serum. The serum is designed to increase neural and physical limitations. However without a stabilizer the serum continues to enhance the body to the point where it can no longer hold itself together due to the lack of organic matter and evolutionary biochemistry of the subject. The stabilizer also contains a protein that helps the body process high levels of radiation. This is what causes the skin to go dark and Keratin-like features to develop bioluminescent properties. Further research showed that the second dose (ICI 02) that increases cognitive function also unlocks several evolutionary properties within the species. Not all abducted species develop abilities, but the few that do vary from person to person. Just because you are of the same species does not mean you will develop the same abilities. But on most occasions you do have adjacent related abilities.
Example:
One subject can develop the ability to Teleport. Their sister, if related by blood, can develop Molecular intangibility, the ability to walk through walls. Both subjects have the ability to manipulate their molecules at a speed incomprehensible to basic organic beings.
The only aesthetic changes that occur to the body due to the first serum (BA 01) is the darkening of skin and lightening of keratin and certain marks on the body. As well as symmetrical alignment of said features.
Example: If the life form was born with symmetrical blotches on their body, (Like Obi and to Noa) those blotches will become linear, this is the symbiote re-coding the body cells and physical attributes correcting “imperfections”. The Ceruleans thought it was cute side effect.
Another example would be if a life form was born with asymmetrical horns. The serum would ensure that all extremities develop symmetrically. Even with asymmetrical patterns in the body, it will clean up organic lines so to say. Creating a “too-perfect-to-be-real” pattern on the skin.
