they actually have specific rules disallowing pedophiles and nazis+the terfs from the last screenshot.
dogpiling and harrassment and stalking is listed as a no go thank fucking god??
there is not one specific staff account as each member of staff has their own thing so itâd be most likely easier to get in touch with them

Good bye
I haven't been active on Tumblr for a really long time, but with the censorships rolling into effect, in case my blog gets deleted, thank you all for following my blog! I've had a nice time while I was active here. I'll still reblog stuff if my blog doesn't get deleted though.
I'll be in other social media. You can still look for me at deviantart (fallen88angel) if you want to see gfd related content I post, though I'm not active there at all either. I check periodically for updates though. Otherwise all my other social media I'm active in have nothing to do with gfd at all (they're usually more lgbtq activist related). That said, if you manage to find them or recognise my art, feel free to message or follow me lol
So yeah, good bye everyone! Let's hope pillowfort.io works huh? Also, fuck the companies responsible for this shit, i.e verizon and yahoo :)
A better, more positive Tumblr
Since its founding in 2007, Tumblr has always been a place for wide open, creative self-expression at the heart of community and culture. To borrow from our founder David Karp, weâre proud to have inspired a generation of artists, writers, creators, curators, and crusaders to redefine our culture and to help empower individuality.
Over the past several months, and inspired by our storied past, weâve given serious thought to who we want to be to our community moving forward and have been hard at work laying the foundation for a better Tumblr. Weâve realized that in order to continue to fulfill our promise and place in culture, especially as it evolves, we must change. Some of that change began with fostering more constructive dialogue among our community members. Today, weâre taking another step by no longer allowing adult content, including explicit sexual content and nudity (with some exceptions). Â
Letâs first be unequivocal about something that should not be confused with todayâs policy change: posting anything that is harmful to minors, including child pornography, is abhorrent and has no place in our community. Weâve always had and always will have a zero tolerance policy for this type of content. To this end, we continuously invest in the enforcement of this policy, including industry-standard machine monitoring, a growing team of human moderators, and user tools that make it easy to report abuse. We also closely partner with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Internet Watch Foundation, two invaluable organizations at the forefront of protecting our children from abuse, and through these partnerships we report violations of this policy to law enforcement authorities. We can never prevent all bad actors from attempting to abuse our platform, but we make it our highest priority to keep the community as safe as possible.
So what is changing?
Posts that contain adult content will no longer be allowed on Tumblr, and weâve updated our Community Guidelines to reflect this policy change. We recognize Tumblr is also a place to speak freely about topics like art, sex positivity, your relationships, your sexuality, and your personal journey. We want to make sure that we continue to foster this type of diversity of expression in the community, so our new policy strives to strike a balance.
Why are we doing this?
It is our continued, humble aspiration that Tumblr be a safe place for creative expression, self-discovery, and a deep sense of community. As Tumblr continues to grow and evolve, and our understanding of our impact on our world becomes clearer, we have a responsibility to consider that impact across different age groups, demographics, cultures, and mindsets. We spent considerable time weighing the pros and cons of expression in the community that includes adult content. In doing so, it became clear that without this content we have the opportunity to create a place where more people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Bottom line: There are no shortage of sites on the internet that feature adult content. We will leave it to them and focus our efforts on creating the most welcoming environment possible for our community.
So whatâs next?
Starting December 17, 2018, we will begin enforcing this new policy. Community members with content that is no longer permitted on Tumblr will get a heads up from us in advance and steps they can take to appeal or preserve their content outside the community if they so choose. All changes wonât happen overnight as something of this complexity takes time.
Another thing, filtering this type of content versus say, a political protest with nudity or the statue of David, is not simple at scale. Weâre relying on automated tools to identify adult content and humans to help train and keep our systems in check. We know there will be mistakes, but weâve done our best to create and enforce a policy that acknowledges the breadth of expression we see in the community.
Most importantly, weâre going to be as transparent as possible with you about the decisions weâre making and resources available to you, including more detailed information, product enhancements, and more content moderators to interface directly with the community and content.
Like you, we love Tumblr and what itâs come to mean for millions of people around the world. Our actions are out of love and hope for our community. We wonât always get this right, especially in the beginning, but we are determined to make your experience a positive one.
Jeff DâOnofrio CEO
Well, Iâm going to spend the next few days going through my blog that I have spent so many countless hours building to take pictures of my work before itâs wiped away forever.
Iâm hurt and Iâm angry. This platform has been a part of my life since I was 16, so over seven years. It helped me explore my sexuality, discover my kinks and make friends. And I realize I havenât been very active for a while due to life getting in the way, but thousands of you have stuck by me over that time and I cherish every one of you. This blog has been such a haven for me and an outlet for the side of me that has nowhere else to be expressed in such an open way. The things Iâve written, the photos Iâve shared and the experiences Iâve had are all here for the world to see and I loved every second of it. I will always be so very proud of how far I made it on this platform and how many people showed their appreciation for the things I shared. It would make my day every single time Iâd get a new message or ask that I could sit down and answer with my whole heart. I hope you all enjoyed your time with me in my world and got something out of it, no matter how small. I love you all and the entire GFD community so much.
I will come back with an update if I figure out a new place to move my content to. I really donât want it to just end if at all possible. And if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know đ -M
âlol the only people mad about the tumblr announcement just want porn lolâ
Yeah, no.
Tumblr blocked the tag âchronic painâ in this mess for no reason
Theyâre flagging commonly used tags by queer people, sex educators, and artists who make their fucking LIVING on tumblr
Theyâre gonna take down genuine sex workers because they didnât curb the problem with spamming porn bots YEARS ago when tumblr users REPORTED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND *OVER* that it was a problem
Tumblr IGNORED the bots, IGNORED the problems, and honestly treated it like NOTHING until their app was taken off a store due to it.
Theyâre fucking over a shit-ton of REAL PEOPLE who rely on tumblr for community and/or income because they ignored usersâ complaints about shitty porn bots for YEARS until it had financial consequences
I can no longer even talk about chronic pain without the post being blocked from searches
I have drawn one or two nude pieces on my art tumblr which is 99% safe for work but now Iâm worried the blog will be taken down entirely because Tumblr wonât bother differentiating between spam and REAL PEOPLE just trying to live their goddamn lives
And god forbid I want to talk about bisexuality or sex or kink in just⌠MY LIFE. As a normal-ass human being who just wants to TALK ABOUT HUMAN THINGS
No, their solution to nuke a problem theyâve ignored for years is to take us all down at once
So maybe donât laugh about âoh no not my pornzâ because 1. plenty of that ~porn~ is made by actual humans making their living and 2. WAY MORE than âjust pornâ is being targeted
This along with Facebook continuously upholding white supremacy by letting nazi shit fly by while they ban people for speaking out against their oppressors and itâs basically like weâre running out of truly free places to just⌠BE
Lezhin comics
Hey everyone. Just wanted to warn anyone who follows Sadistic Beauty or BL comics on Lezhin-- DON'T SUPPORT LEZHIN COMICS!!!
criticalnes.wordpress.com/2018âŚ
https://www.reddit.com/r/manga/comments/7r8cfz/lezhin_writers_striking_over_some_sort_of/
fyi comic creators are being mistreated and their comics are being held by Lezhin for 3 years if they want to switch over to another platform, so some artists are holding a strike. Itâs actually been happening for at least 8 months and I had no idea until recently. Please spread the word!
Maybe I shouldnât read hentai before nap

The Great Bot Purge 2018
Tumblr is in an epidemic. The porn bot apocalypse is here. And itâs really, really, really, really, really annoying. Even more annoying than me saying really five times in a row because letâs face it:

Howdy guy, more private stuff here.
Howdy bro, my profile here.
Lately the probability of finding a comment like this in the notes has gone up from 100% to a 10000% and itâs seriously impacting our user experience.
I have been here since 2010, @staff. Started out as wolf blog and in 2012 I used to share my poetry and made eight super good friends to which I am still talking today! But now what?
Itâs pretty safe to say that there are a number of bot networks active on this website. The one asking for bitcoin and the aforementioned âlooking for funâ one for example. The bots follow a pattern and because itâs a network it should be easy to roll up.
I know we always point at @staff to fix this, but honestly, itâs not an easy fix. I know many people block bots, but do we also report and flag them? How does staff respond to flags?
Anyway, here is what I and 10,000 other people who started following this blog over the last 24 hours propose:
We purge the bots. The porn bots. All of them. This is going to be one big COORDINATED effort to destroy the bots!
For one month we are going to report and flag those blogs, and make sure we cut their profits so they donât make enough money to support their bot network.
Itâs very important that we do this as a community. This is a movement. Everyone has to join so we can limit the outcome of this battle to only two possibilities:
We win this battle
@staff really doesnât give a shit
Letâs go get them! Join the army @purgethebots
I had no idea flagging and reporting can be done since it wasnt an option for the mobile app -_-
Tumblr: We put everyone in safe mode automatically! Makes it safe for the kids!
Also Tumblr: Porn Bots whom? Actual literal pedophiles what?
Puts a salt circle around my Tumblr to protect it from being followed by porn blogs and bots. Â
