Fragile little shells (open)

Selena hummed softly to herself as she strung sone shells together making a lovely necklace, her anniversary of dating her beloved was coming and Selena wanted to surprise her with a hand made necklace, plus humming was keeping her from getting angry as many of the shells shattered in the attempt.

As another one shattered in her hands Selena shook with frustration resisting the urge to throw the shells back into the ocean…or a tree.

Aero on stepped out of a portal and smiled brilliantly at his baby sister. “Selena!!! The gentlest wave of the sea!” Having seen his past life’s sister he found he had in a way neglected his current sisters. “I have been away too long. For that I am sorry. I brought something to make it up to you.” He pulled out a small box inside was a velvet smooth mousse of cherry and almond.

Selena looked up and grinned happily seeing him as she temporarily abandoned her shells to hug him tight

“I know your line of work must be busy but you should talk to me more” Selena scolded gently as she pulled away she looked over the peculiar box before taking it and smiling at him

“thank you, but you don’t have to buy me things for forgiveness”

“I am well aware but when I leave it will help add sweetness to your life. Also might I congratulate you on your relationship anniversary to Roesia. Such a big and wonderful step to make.”

"I know, I'm trying very hard to make her a necklace but.... shells are horrible, spiteful little things."

~Grow your hair out long and add a salt spray to give it some texture. Keep your hair silky-smooth by doing a coconut hair mask once a week. Use a temporary hair dye or hair chalk and add a dash of pink or blue to your shimmering locks for a summery look.

~Wear opalescent eyeshadow in the corners of your eyes and on the cupid’s bow of your lips. This will accentuate your features, further adding to your mer-like persona.

~Use seashells and crystals that you collect as decor on your nightstand and windowsill. The bigger clamshells can be used to hold your strands of pearls, anklets, and earrings.

~Have a treasure box where you keep all of your prized possessions. Store your away your gemstones, love letters, empty perfume bottles, and other trinkets you may have. Make sure to keep this in a safe place where no one will ever find it.

~Indulge in mud masks and sea salt scrubs to keep your skin looking radiant and smooth. Use a tanning moisturizer after you take your evening bubble bath or while stargazing on your balcony.
