Using the ocean as a resource it interacts with each of the Earth's spheres by being powered by water, the main force of life that is connected to all spheres. While being a component to existance, the ocean also gives way to erosion on land.

Wave power is a more predictable source of electricity than solar or wind.

It is also a clean, renewable resource of energy that will not run out.

Using the ocean as a resource benefits society by not harming the ecosystem through utilizing a 'clean' non carbonreleasing energy source.
