Another easy one--because this just epitomizes the undercurrent that is Kirishima’s background, his feelings and how he spent so long doubting, so long feeling inadequate until he just couldn’t take it anymore. Those insecurities are his albatross and, in the name of getting rid of it? He’ll throw the first punch.

This one was easy. EASY. Partly because I happened upon this song and it made me post the meme in the first place AHEM but anyway--Kacchan’s always struck me as someone who knows that the distance he creates, on some level, is hurting him, leaving him in an emotional freefall that’ll be his end if he doesn’t reach out, but the idea of admitting vulnerability is just anathema to him because to him, heroes don’t show weakness. They don’t show fear or trauma or anything else that he keeps bottled up inside. This song, to me, represents that struggle.

Okay so this was a little bit of a challenge for me! ...mostly because I don’t have all that much in the way of happy, bright, friendly music in my collection. When I stopped trying to focus on that singular aspect of Mina’s personality, though, I drifted my way to this. The ethereal feeling of the Birthday Massacre in general with the addition of lyrics that I think speak to that doomed sense of romanticism that colors her world and... yeah. Tada!

Just what Eijiro said was lost, utterly, totally, and completely lost in the feeling of his lips pressing to her cheek in a kiss, an alien sensation that collided with her train of thought with all the force of one of his Quirk-enhanced punches. He just–why would–her cheeks flushing the crimson of his Hero name was instantaneous, her eyes widening to nigh-comical circumference as she felt herself beginning to float involuntarily. It wasn’t all that high, maybe a few inches or so before she noticed… which wasn’t about to happen anytime soon. The same was true of the nigh-dopey smile which graced her lips, the expression doing little to assist her attempts to speak.

It did quite the opposite, in fact.

“A-A-Ahehehehe, I–ahm… sorry, what did you say?” She was distracted, after all.
