I’m from Gaza. I’ve been living through the war since it began — every day feels like another fight just to survive.
When the war started, my wife was pregnant with our daughter, Naya. Out of fear for their lives, I had to send them to Egypt to keep them safe.
Time has passed, and Naya is now two years old. She’s growing up far away from me, in exile, without ever knowing her father’s embrace. My wife is struggling alone with no family around and no stable income. Rent debts have piled up, and the landlord is threatening to evict them. Even Naya’s clothes are too small now, and her mother can’t afford to buy new ones.
I write this with deep shame, because I never imagined I would have to ask for help. But I have no other choice. We need £1,200 within 13 days to pay the rent and cover Naya’s basic needs.
