A sequel to Nolan's version of The Odyssey except it's a modern day reincarnation story with Lupita Nyong'o and Benny Safdie as co workers who get flashes of their past lives and she is a tsundere while he is pathetically obsessed with her.

And, somehow, he managed to get his hands on a cool ass looking armour from a thrift store and wears it randomly to work without any explanations.

i would like to hear ur Thoughts about Agamemnon and clytemnestra in the odyssey

Okay I rly wish I had the clips 😩 so im just gonna describe what I saw (all of this is specific to the 2026 movie)

So in the first set of flashbacks we have of them (Helen is telling Telemachus about how Agamemnon died) we see that Clytemnestra has come down to greet him and she begins to bow to him, but he bows first which seems to shock her. Secondly; while Agamemnon is recounting how he was murdered in Hades he calls Clytemnestra "My beautiful wife" still (correct me if im wrong but I don't think he does that in Homer's Odessey). In this flashback it continues the little welcome home parade he gets, and we can see that Clytemnestra sort of presses against him and they walk arm in arm.

It continues on to where he is taken out of his heavy armour and Clytemnestra is the one bathing him; washing his hair and rubbing oils into it. A deeply intimate act that one would think a queen would not do. Lastly; Clytemnestra murders Agamemnon as they are having (or about to have) sex. Like this dude has pretty much thrown himself on the nearest surface to get some from his wife (and got murked after lmaoo) All of these things combined lead me to believe that their relationship was at the very least amicable if not downright loving; which from what I have seen is a direct contrast to their relationship in the mythology. Like a Greek king straight up bowing to his queen upon his return from war?? The fact that she was personally seeing to his bath and washing his curls and he was not suspicious of something fishy at all; as if it were somewhat of a routine before he left for the decade???Maybe I am giving Nolan too much credit but that paints a fascinating picture. Especially because this Agamemnon is portrayed to be more like a force of nature, mostly silent and foreboding (I started reading the Iliad and he's whiny as shit lmaoo)

Just makes me wonder more about their dynamic as a couple as Nolan has written it 🤔.
