My very first art of Robespierre which I remade today. Drew this to Melting Waltz by Abel Korzeniowski and I seriously headcanon it as his theme song. Had me shaking. What an eargasm.
Robespierre ties Saint-Just’s cravat, but Saint-Just has to lower himself so his boyfriend can reach.
Here’s Saint-Just in traditional art. This time he isn’t wearing blue. Drew this while watching a movie so the proportions might be a little off.

I love Saint just et la Force des choses (even if the movie had its shortcomings) Regardless I couldn’t help but think of how unkindly the film’s Robespierre treated Saint-Just time and time again. Can we take the movie’s SJ and put him in a different frev film to pair with a better Max?

HOW TO DRAW ROBESPIERRE’S WIG
You asked this question twice, once in 2024 and again in 2025 (today) so I will provide. @littlemonchi
Louis XVI’s wig is a little tighter on his head. Four curls (two on each side) and his ears are mostly visible
Main different is Max’s love for poofy wigs. It does look flattering on him, to be honest. His wig generally has small curls. Smaller than Louis XVI’s. Think of Robespierre’s wig like a helmet.
More money means bigger wig, yes? Love those luscious locks. Feel free to add curls at the back of Robespierre’s wig. I generally believe Louis XVI had a smoother wig if that makes sense lol
I could go on and on about different wigs but this is going to get long real fast. Hope this helps!
