Octopi Pickup Session 5-11-2014

Summary:

"Octopi! Despite the holiday, we had 20 people playing ball today! Woohoo! A very nice day for balling. Though of course we miss the folks who couldn’t make it! Say hello to your family for your softball team!

Next Saturday, May 17th, at 3pm, at our field, we have a game against a very fun group of softballers, the Hairy Calluses! Please be there at 2PM so we can be ready to go by 3PM with the warmups!”

Today we had a fun-filled session with the Broad Street Run happening in the background (which octopi Megan and Lou participated in!) We had a heated battle between the Broad Street Runs and the Deuces. Final score was 17-16 on a walkoff! From here on the weather's nice and it's gonna be party time!
