I’ll be haunted forever by this scene from Baldurs Gate 3.

The Last of Us season 2 it’s quite bad, it’s ok to be an adaptation and changing things, actually that’s the whole point of adapting something to a new kind of media. You should be able to add things a game cannot, for example. But Craig and Neil decided to remove things and by doing so it made the story generic, so far.

Without Tommy leaving to avenge Joel before Ellie we don’t have his trail to justify how she and Dina know where they are going, everything it’s based on Scooby Doo level of deduction.

Without their first intimate scene, at the weed plantation, we didn’t get to see Ellie telling Dina she’s immune and Dina thinking it was a joke, the comeback of it in game it’s peak storytelling.

Without Abby’s POV we get to see other plots by flashback and it makes Ellie revenge arc sounds silly.

Bella Ramsey it’s an amazing actor they would nail it if the script was not pushing they back, Ellie it’s kind of a generic character at this point, the complete opposite of her in season 1

Ok Brasil might be the country that has been spoiled with Caitvi content the most. I’ll take that as a win.

I see a lot of so called “hot takes” about arcane but the only thing that makes me sad it’s Vi being my favorite character and her being voiced by Hailee Steinfeld which means no interviews, no deep conversations about Vi arc, nothing. At the same time you can buy prints and see interviews from Toks, Katie, etc.

One of my favorite full circle moments in Arcane it’s how since the beginning Powder/Jinx only wanted to help her sister, save her, fight for her. Arcane it’s the story of their unbreakable love and how much both are willing to sacrifice for each other. In both moments of this parallel she’s in peace without knowing what will happen to her because she saved her sister, she was able to help.

Powder/Jinx it’s a doomed Greek tragedy like character and I love her so much for that.
