Triangle of Sadness (2022)
Sporting short-cropped perky red hair, black chunky boots, relaxed casually thrown tees over the shoulder, laid back cadence but an equally intellectual intelligent mind.

The Way it Is |
The Way it Is
One morning you might wake up
to realize that the knot in your stomach
had loosened itself and slipped away,
and that the pit of unfulfilled longing in your heart
had gradually, and without your really noticing,
been filled in—patched like a pothole, not quite
the same as it was, but good enough.
And in that moment it might occur to you
that your life, though not the way
you planned it, and maybe not even entirely
the way you wanted it, is nonetheless—
persistently, abundantly, miraculously—
exactly the way it is.
by Lynn Ungar 11/28/15
—Pablo Neruda, from One Hundred Love Sonnets XVII
fade into you
how do I tell you I want to perish my soul without ceasing life.
I romanticise my heart paralyzing
and my nerves entangling my throat .
I solemnly dwell upon the days I would have to lay on my bed,
apathetically stare at the ceiling;
unraveling my denouement
and find solace,
in withering away the memories
that pushed the wind through my hollow spine,
ignited my sternum
and cleaved my ribs bare.
