One of my earliest designs, the concept of a flying cat has really stuck around! I liked that pokemon introduced the idea of invasive species so I decided to incorporate that here, fitting for an island region. These mons started developing fur patterns to mimic birds. I imagine they actually use the ear/wings to glide from tree to tree, still able to hunt like a normal cat. Their subtle griffin inspiration also ties them into the region's mythology theme!

Where do we find these? I found some of her comics (including Stinz) on her website/Webtoon, but not those others. Are they parts of a larger work?

I think maybe you could read Family Values without reading the rest of the comic. It's my favorite - specifically the second part of it, "Hit or Miss". Extremely real and painful if you have any kind of parent/guardian related trauma.
